We arrived just before 5:00 and they were just getting ready and started bringing out fresh hot food, the chilli pork chop was great as was the noodles. We were seated at a very delapidated seat at the window and given menus. I noticed a lot of east indian meals listed. Our order was taken by a nice young waitress and brought out in short order. My order consisted of sausage/eggs/toast and potato chunks. The plate looked quite bland, not extremely appealing, the sausage was dripping so much oil that i used two napkins to soak up the residual. The eggs cooked as requested, the potato chunks were dried up as if left over from the previous day. I have never before seen assorted jams repackaged in small containers and left out on the table. This was the first time i have been offered a visa machine to pay where the tip starts at 15%. Next time in Nanton we will not return to the Bridge but try another restaurant.
