Horrible experience everytime the older heavy set manager is there. I think her name is Dereth. She is always rude and unhappy. She will never allow you to get anything extra. I have even told her I would pay extra! Nope! If it's not on the menu exact she will not make it. The franchise owners really need to do something. Read the Google reviews. It's crazy how most of the negative reviews are about her. I heard her daughter works at the HR office of Subway maybe that's why. I will turn around and walk out if I see her working. read more

Food is good when the younger people make it but the one old lady that works there literally is so rude. She needs to be fired. The younger people are very good and so nice. Especially one with pastel kinda blond hair! Ambiance of the store is ruined by a nasty old lady complaining about literally anything. They never seem to have enough staff here. I can't count how many times I've tried to order through the app and it's not ready when I get there. You either have to sit and wait in line (what's the point?) or leave without food and try to get a refund later. They're really slow as well. They also make your sandwich wrong if you don't tip. This location is not a ideal subway to get your sandwiches. The bread was hard and crunchy like a cracker. The layout of the tables is so crampacked. And don't even get me started on their "handicap accessible tables" you cannot get a wheelchair up to the table. The employees were not very family friendly, cussing and what not. Not sure why the other reviews were so sour on these folks, but it may be due to the turnover rate of employees within the location. We visited this location last night, New Year's Day dinner sandwiches, and they were busy and the crew was hopping. The sandwiches made were unbelievable, the best from all the Subways we've been to. Cassie, the girl in charge, was pleasant, smiling, cheerful, and the young man helping her was no slouch, he was keeping up. As my brother said, the performance just kept getting better. We had ordered 8 foot longs, they were well-packed with the fillings, and we were not disappointed. As far as we're concerned, this location is a winner, as long as Cassie and her team are there, we'll be back!! :D read more

Whoever takes lunch orders at this Subway, really needs to go. This is not the first time this has happened, but when we phone in lunch orders, she is rude, says we're an inconvenience and that we are creating a delay. Not many choices when you want to eat lunch in Elizabeth Colorado. Too bad we won't be able to go back to Subway to have lunch. Called in a lunch order today (of three sandwiches)and the lady taking the phone order was very annoyed with us. (Thought we were being helpful ). When we went to pick it up she complained that our three sandwiches were the reason that they were so backed up. This Subway by Safeway has gone down hill. I've heard it's under new management My family usually goes to this location. Staff is friendly, fast and the food is great. However, the last few visits has been very disappointing. Three weeks ago my daughter and son went there for steak sandwiches and there was NO steak. So they left. Last week my daughter and I went there for lunch and I ordered the Turkey, bacon and guacamole. I wanted tomatoes but they were out. Safeway is right next store, go get some. Ok, so no big deal but kinda of a bummer. Today I went to order two steak and cheese sandwiches for my husband and I. First they no longer had the bread I wanted, ok whatever. Then I noticed both footlong sandwiches only got one full scoop of steak meat per sandwich. I remember the day when you got two scoops of meat for a footlong. Shrug the shoulders, moving forward, I wanted pepper jack cheese, oops they were out. Asked for spinach on my sandwich and it look a bit wilted. My husband doesn't like having anything added to his so his sandwich was very bare. Definitely didn't get our money's worth. I spent around $20.00 for two sandwiches and 3 cookies. Highly doubt we will return. May try the one at Walmart next time even though it's further away. Maybe they should re-think how they order, no product equals no sales. Then out of business. This is a small town and word travels fast. read more
