    High tea

Located on Main St. in Elizabeth is this adorable tea room. The inside feels super cozy with multiple separate rooms with tables. You'll feel like you're at your grandma's place. We came for a high tea for Mother's Day and has a wonderful time. The have an amazing tea selection and it was picking just which tea to drink. Then the food came and everything was delicious and made with so much care. I'm glad to know this place is here. It would be a great place for birthdays or any kind of shower.

I am sitting in a beautiful adjacent room...listening to a group of people, a family...having high tea. Great grandmother, greandmothers, mother, children and grandchildren. No phones. They are talking about traditions, fav meals, when they were young, lessons learned....and everyone is engaged...even the young children... What a treasure. I glanced into the room and saw a room full of smiling people. Happy to be together..happy for this moment.

This is a cute little place with boutique items and a tea room. Has a restroom too. Great service.

The tea room with all the family!

Every year for my niece and my birthday we do a new tea place. We have been to Glen Erie, brown palace, manitou springs castle, Denver and littelton. None of them compared to this Carriage Tea Room! The food portions are amazing, the tea was so good and the service was so good! Highly recommend this tea house. I will be coming again!

The Carriage Shoppes Tea Room was a wonderful find this holiday season! My daughter, grand daughter and myself so enjoyed the beautifully decorated rooms, vast array of teas, & the exceptional high tea served by Christine the owner. She is a delight as well as fantastic chef/baker! The scones, Monte Christo tea sandwiches, leafed lettuce with pomegranates/bacon, stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes were delish! We made reservations for next year already!! This tea room is a MUST DO!

It originally opened in Castle Rock back in 1996 before moving to Castle Pines, and it still feels like a true neighborhood institution. Be prepared to slow down a bit. When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

The service was outstanding, the lighting/ ambiance were perfect. Pearl Street in Denver is a cool little district to walk around when the weather is nice too. Loved the area! We will be back!

First time at Miss M's Tea Parlour with reservations booked in advance over the phone…read more The ambiance looks nice for a tea time, little atmosphere, with music in the background and even candlelight was turned on. I was offered pictures to be taken, we said yes, and even dresses/hats for us to dressed up, but we politely declined. The tea shop was vacant for us, so we enjoyed being there together for our little tea time. Even the lady was easy to talk to and her service was good, but we have our second thoughts about this tea shop. We didn't have scones with the cream, only sandwiches and desserts. At least the sandwiches were nice portions for the 2 of us. Other tea shops we have been to, comes in with scones and creams. Desserts were kind oh meh!. They felt like stored-bought desserts for a $35 p/person tea service. On the other hand, I enjoyed the strawberry cobbler, I never had before. You also have the option to try at least 3 different kind of teas, that is good to know for someone trying new teas experiences. But we have to wait a few times for the hot water to come in. In overall, I just wished to have scones with cream included, the desserts being made there and not stored-bought, and the hot water pitcher left in on our table instead of being served, so we can serve ourselves, instead of waiting. I think there is room for improvement, and the location is nice.
