Whatever the reason, I just can't get enough of it. The other day, I stopped by my favorite fast-food restaurant and ordered my usual: a vegetarian burger and fries. But this time, I decided to treat myself to a dessert. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a cupcake, and let me tell you, they were both amazing. I was licking my fingers after the cookie, and the cupcake was so good that I almost didn't want to share it with my children. But then I spotted the bread pudding, and I knew I had to try it. I took one bite and then looked in the mirror with a huge grin on my face. I liked it, because I ate the whole thing!

So the other food truck there Da Boil House wasn't out of food even though boiled seafood wasn't what I wanted. I'm from Louisiana I'm not gonna not eat it lol. So we ordered just a small plate from their specials. I didn't want to be disappointed because everybody can't cook crawfish and I have yet to have a good experience outside of South Louisiana with crawfish. We got the crawfish and shrimp with corn, potato, and sausage. The shrimp were hard and I'm used to boiled shrimp having their heads maybe that's why they weren't the best I'm not sure. The seasoning smelled good but I don't like they let everything soak well enough to capture the flavor it wasn't juicy. The corn and potatoes were bland and when it comes to sausage it wasn't the kind I'm use to. For the price you can't beat it though, it just wasn't the best. I'll have to come back during the week and pray that the regular food truck part hasn't run out so I can finally try them. They say the third time is a charm so let's hope so! I'm hoping that this was not done intentionally and I am willing to give them another chance. Maybe fajitas are not served with tortillas here, but they always have been at other Mexican restaurants in Natchez. On the plus side, what was on the plate is quite good. It had a lot of well seasoned chicken strips, and the cheese sauce over the rice is good as well. Thus they were not serving BBQ as they were a bit exhausted. They were absolutely lovely people that made our lunch special. They only had hamburgers, fried cat fish, fried chicken, and pork chops. We had the burgers and cat fish. Both were good - not amazing, but completely solid for a small town cafe. We were the only ones there and we had seen there was a funeral going on in town, so I am sure many were occupied with that. As we were leaving 3 people came in. The tables were very clean, the bathroom was clean. They had football on the TVS, a pool table, and Christmas music playing. The only thing that was annoying was several smoke detectors were beeping. If we had batteries in our car I swear we would have tried to help them change the batteries! Thankfully the music helped cover it. We would have loved to try their BBQ - as she said she cooks all food as it's ordered - she doesn't precook and warm stuff up. The food wasn't the big deal here - it is the people!
