The meatballs used to be so big that the sandwich was basically an open face with two giant meatballs and a large slab of cheese melted over it. The sandwich today had wall smaller meatballs which were consumed by the bread. The majority of it was bread with hardly any meat and the cheese was melted across the top. Still, it did what it was supposed to do; filled me up. This place does great business and I'm sure they have other good sandwiches but I doubt I'll be back. The meatball sub has always been a favorite of mine but todays meal seem to give credence to the adage that you can't go home again.
