I used to work here years ago, (before and during renovations)…read moreI was hired & fired by the general manager Eve Cusack. I worked here for about a year and a half. If not two full years. Constantly being overworked with absolutely zero breaks. Technically my breaks were me being allowed to have one cigarette every 3 hours. (If I was even allowed to) No legally mandated lunch, no 10 minute breaks anywhere. Just 5 minutes of smoking a cigarette that I never got to finish. The general manager (eve) also had both of her children working there with her along with her daughter's best friend. (nepotism) Her daughter (Ashley) wasn't really an issue. The friend (Erica) wasn't a issue either. her son (Mark) the cook, abused me every single day of my employment calling me a fag, and other homophobic slurs. (While laughing) The day I finally stood up for myself her son physically assaulted me in the back of the store and then she proceeded to fire me. (All within minutes)(He assaulted another employee before) (All I did was call him a name back one name) They will overwork you if you work here especially if Eve is still a manager. I was trained in drive-thru, front counter, dishes, and cooking. Which is supposed to get you something called an All-Star status which I was never given even though I had been trained in all four positions for more than a year. The buffet is almost constantly never cleaned. With proper sanitization. (When they had it) I actively remember them telling me the only thing I truly needed to care about with the buffet was the chicken. But even then I was never truly allowed to take chicken and put it into the buffet even if we were having a rush even if the buffet was completely out of food. Didn't matter. The only good thing about my employment here was their at the time assistant manager (Michele) But after I was fired and brought all of these issues to their regional manager. (Name escapes me) She (Michele) was fired instead of Eve because they somehow were able to blame her for it all. Eve is a corporate plant. I have actively heard her bragging about how she has met the CEO has gone to these intense parties with other corporate people. Galas, ect. And her favorite pastime is reminding people of at will employment and how she could fire someone for simply not liking them. (I assume she did this to get people in line and keep them complacent) I pressed charges against her ape of a son, and refuse to ever be quiet about it. If my life hadn't fallen apart directly after this as a result of all of this I probably would have sued. (2016-2018) Approximately. And yes LOL during my employment we were also instructed that if we didn't like a customer as long as we didn't get caught we could spit in their food. ‍ Time all this was able to be seen by the customers. I should have posted this review years ago. But I was busy rebuilding my life from the ashes KFC left me with. Be careful when eating/working here. Please.

I wish I could remember the name of the manager which is the sole reason of this review. Granted…read morehis niceties and the level of service provided is what solidified the pleasance of our visit. So I was thankful to him and his staff. When road tripping, fast food is just a part of the trip and during /after the pandemic the industry had been hard hit, that can be related in the many low starred reviews found across the web. But to see their reviews go from bad, low starred reviews from a few years back to highly starred recent write-ups, things are looking up for this Wendy's location. The food is still the same ol' Wendy's. It's the staff that made the stop worth it.

I went here to eat at the start of a road trip. It was the most conveniently located fast food…read morejoint nearby, so we decided it was a good choice. My relationship with Wendy's is not a good one. I was traumatized by a frosty when I was 8 years old, when I got a frosty with a maggot (or at least I thought, it could've been a fry) in it. I freaked out and put it in the trash. I hadn't gotten Wendy's many times sense, I had mustered up enough courage to get a frosty here and there, and once an iced coffee, which was a good way to get calories while recovering from a surgery. Anyways, long story short, I'm pretty much known for disliking Wendy's. Before walking into Wendy's, a man with a big truck shook his head at me because I was standing in the middle of the road on accident. We walked into this Wendy's, and I was anxious but hopeful. I walked in, and to my suprise, a bulbous man named Adam was at the counter. Amazingly, despite his towering presence, he was a gentle, kind man. Adam greeted us, asked us how we were doing, asked us where we were headed, and when we replied, he said he had been there himself. Adam was not only a kind man, he was also efficient at taking our orders. He rapid fired through the four of us like a western man in a saloon. After departing from Adam, we couldn't help but smile as we walked to our table, relaxed and ready to eat. We sat down, and got ready. With beautiful divine timing, our food seemed to magically appear from the kitchen. We went to receive it, and were once again met with Adam's innocent and childlike smile, despite being an older man. We sat down to eat our food, which tasted great, but not anything too special. However, this "not-too-specialness" was masked by our outstanding gratitude and appreciation for Adam, the cashier. We had a conversation with the man who almost ran me over (which wouldn't have been his fault, really) while we were eating, but shockingly, he and his three old man buddies were very nice company. I just wanted to leave this review to thank Adam, and the service he did to us in fueling our road trip. Adam will forever be in our hearts, and I hope the world never takes his innocent smile away from him.
