As soon as we saw one of the Max's locations, we said NO WAY, why in the world would we come all the way to Sweden to eat BURGERS. One day after a long day trip we came back starving and needing something quick easy and chill. The line was out the door, this place was packed. When we saw the menu touch screens we just said ok let's just look and keep walking. IMPOSSIBLE RAINBOW BURGER ENTERED THE ROOM and we stopped scrolling Not only did they have a plant based burger but they had SOOOOO MANY plant based options that it was almost too good to be true. McDonald's on Kunsgatan might not have the technology of other branches (ordering and number…read morescreens), but it still is a fairly large branch in a good Stockholm location. The staff seemed nice enough here - the security guard obviously didn't as he was walking around the store, doing his best to intimidate people who were just queuing up and ordering and even eating - I felt like saying to him "Come on mate it's 11 am how about you do your job rather than trying to intimidate people?", he ended up following me in and out of the store too after I left quite quickly mainly down to the fact I didn't realise they stopped breakfast almost straight away - it seems as soon as it gets to 10:30 they swap over straight away without looking back, possibly even slightly before. There was a decent amount of seating but I do think the store when busy could get rather messy. A typical branch of McDonald's - clean enough due to it being early on in the morning and in a good location but nothing remotely impressive to draw to my attention - a worse selection of drinks in stock compared to other stores was a bummer too.
