Our server was highly inattentive, left us waiting for long stretches, and never introduced herself. She also missed the opportunity to see if we wanted another round of drinks once dinner arrived. Most disappointing of all, they completely looked past the note on our reservation about celebrating my mother's birthday. I was seated right away. The place looks super chic. I liked the wood decor. They have music playing in the background. Some days there are DJs in house. I ordered the lakay bob cocktail. Drink was strong. I tasted that alcohol immediately. For my meal, I tried the Jamaican oxtail patty and of course, banann ak morue!!! It's been a minute since I've had this meal so I was excited. The patty was amazing. The dough was light and fluffy. The oxtail was flavorful and blended well. I didnt too much care for the ketchup sauce. Glad it came on the side. The morue was not as expected. It was good overall but I feel like there were more peppers onions than the actual morue. Nice little place to dine with plenty to do around the area. For our main meal I ordered their Fried Chicken Salad. Pooh ordered Apollo à la Brasa, and Marie had Lobster Roll with fries and salad. I liked my salad but since it was "fried chicken " I thought the chicken would be hot. It was just warm so the skin wasn't crispy; more loose like sagging skin. Pooh loved his dish but it was a tad salty and greasy. Marie loved everything. Each of us had a Brazilian coffee which was delicious. After we shared an order of their Beignets. These beignets were huge and came with two dipping sauces: caramel and whipped Nutella. Waffles were also soggy. I'm just glad it wasn't overly sweet. - Bagel & Lox: OK. Since this is an assembled plate, and nothing really to prepare other than a toasted bagel. They were not very flavorful and they were small pieces. I asked for the celery and ranch dressing and those were good. The Happy Hour covers the entire food menu, so anyone can find something they will like. Try it ! Just don't expect a lot when ordering the wings....
