The first trick was figuring out how to get into the parking lot. Now that we have done it once, it should be easier if there is a next time. We parked in a handicapped spot for my wife and we were surprised to find the door on that side was locked. They had neglected to unlock it when they opened. My wife took her Walker around to the opposite door. On the app I had found a couple of Build it yourself cravings boxes we liked the sound because they featured chalupas, which we used to like But the app would let me pay for it so we drove there and went inside to order. Those cravings boxes were not available anymore, apparently, even one they had on a small poster for out on the counter. So we ordered combos with a taco, burrito, drink and cinnamon twists. And since it smelled so good, a few pieces of chicken also. The burrito was fine, but the crispy taco was stale. Could have used a looking time in an oven to crisp them up. The cinnamon twists tasted funny, perhaps due to the oil they were cooked in. The chicken was good and came with a biscuit. So the branch didn't dazzle us, but I will hive our new local branch a chance when it opens up.

We also really like a Whopper at least once a week. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous. At the drive through we have very rarely found that a mistake was made. The issue is not the food. As stated above, we like the food, therefore the frequency of our visits. The problem is the temperature of the food. For breakfast a staff member gave me a hint that I need to ask for extra hot when ordering breakfast and that seems to have worked. I suspect that this means they are 'popping' the sandwiches in the microwave before sending them out. Several weeks ago we went through the drive through, bought two Whoppers, drove the 1/4 mile to our home and found the sandwiches to be literally 'stone' cold. The cheese was not even melted and the bun and patty were cold to the touch. This is not just a time or two but every single time, the only exception being the breakfast sandwiches due to asking for extra hot. This has greatly reduced the frequency of our visits. To add insult to injury, I had the occasion to order a Whopper at the Burger King in Skowhegan, Maine; drove 10 minutes to my friends home and found the sandwich to still be quite warm and the cheese melted.
