Unfortunately my experience was not a pleasant one at this particular Subway. I eat at a Subway almost everywhere I visit because I expected spectacular food and service like I always get elsewhere. Well, this was not the case on this particular day. Sunday, August 11, a little after 4:00 p.m., a friend and I stopped on our way home. I love the Chicken Pesto with Ciabatta bread. Well, this is what I ordered, but they were out of the bread. First strike, so I chose a different bread. Then I was going to add a drink and chips. I can't have sugar and I don't drink sodas, so ice tea is my drink of choice. Well, they were out of tea and was told they were not making anymore. So, then I proceeded to just get a cup of ice so I could get water. I'm traveling 8 hours home, a small free cup wasn't enough. So, they charged me for the cup. So, I asked her if she could at least give me the cup since they were out of everything I wanted. She didn't even apologize, she just said, "No, that's just how it is around here" Didn't care in the least that my first visit at this store will be my last. I'm sad the owner employs such disrespectful employees for their business.
Hopefully Subway can send in an undercover boss to this store. It won't be in business very long with poor customer service and less than enthusiastic employees who don't want to make more tea or more bread. read more
