Dairy Queen gives the standard choices that helped define what an ice cream shop should offer. I remember from my youth what a fancy experience a banana split was and look at how the world evolved, lol. At Dairy queen, they offer the basic flavors as opposed to a gazillion flavors at other places might offer. However, vanilla is still a very good choice for me and this was an overall positive experience. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here and I enjoyed the ice cream. I have not had their fast food burgers or anything in years, but I've always enjoyed Dairy Queen ice cream. It was a visit to childhood, as well as being an enjoyable break and delicious dessert now as an adult.

The employee's where super nice and it was an uplifting vibe, which is rare to find in fast food anymore. They didn't act like they hated their jobs. Best by place to go in my opinion! Waffle House is a pretty familiar sight here in the southeastern part of the United States. Waffle House is a chain of restaurants geared to give a consistent greasy spoon diner experience (and I say that in a positive way) with a cook cooking up everything behind the counter and served by a friendly enough staff. Waffle House generally captures that greasy spoon diner ambiance and vibe. They are not a huge place, but if you drove through the southeastern United States, you more than likely have seen their bright yellow buildings. My usual go-to at a Waffle House is usually their patty melt or maybe one of their breakfasts centered around eggs. Despite the fact that the word "waffle" is literally in their business name, I have never had a waffle at a Waffle House. I prefer a savory breakfast over a sweet breakfast. The real star at Waffle House, at least in my opinion, is their hash browns, which you can have topped with a slew of various toppings. I usually mix it up, but chili and cheese is usually in the mix, along with several other things. Again, this to me is what makes Waffle House unique in its selection. This Waffle House overall is a good representation of the brand and it is an overall good place to head to for a meal. I would definitely recommend here and will give it four stars.
