TO begin with, a worker came out from behind the cooking area, exclaiming she did not feel well and was going to the bathroom. Just before she entered the bathroom, she turned and looked at the 6 people standing in the lobby and explained, "Where the 'F" did all these people come from?" She then came back out a couple of minutes later to about 10 people standing in the lobby waiting for service. We should have probably left at this point, but she was apparently a manager and was not handling food, and we were hungry. From here, the swear words and cussing feast was on with everyone, but the drive-through lady, who was not participating. She was actually embarrassed by the antics that the other employees found totally acceptable. The manager and the meat-cutting guy were obviously having a beef, and the manager was also very frustrated with her work period. My two kids both got an education on how not to act in public and what language not to use. I love QDOBA, but I will not be coming back to this one.

I would understand if there was under staffing but they seemed to have plenty of staff, however only one was making sandwiches. Typically I love Firehouse and have a great experience, that was not the reputation they presented today. Our presence was acknowledged and one of the employees immediately offered to take our order. I like how there were a few people in the back working diligently the orders. Compared to the Subway sandwiches that drips when I take bites, the bread was a hearty, more dense that captured the juices. The meatball was juicy and the marinara sauce had a tang. I enjoyed mine. The other people in my group enjoyed theirs too. My husband's was messier to eat. He felt like it was just ok. Overall, it was a very filling sandwich. The floor and tables were a bit messy. The tables needed to be wiped down and the floors had crumbs all over but it's ok, we hopped back to D1 to continue with our evening and ate our dinner there.

When you consider the food prices, the credit card fee, and the taste of the food itself, it's hard to even give this place 3 out of 5 stars and call it "average." I hate giving lower reviews, especially to smaller businesses, but this place needs some work. I'm going to write the kind of honest review I wish I would have seen before going here. To start, the prices are quite high. For what they're charging, I expected much better food. On top of that, they also charge a credit card fee, which means they are passing that cost onto the customer in addition to the high menu prices. That alone is an immediate negative for me. The ambience of the place itself isn't bad. It's a larger restaurant, and the curved door and circular shape are actually kind of cool. It's also cool having TVs all around. We were there on a Saturday night, and it was pretty slow. That said, if the locals have been here before, I can understand why it was slow, given the food quality and prices. I got the 1/2 Tequila BBQ Burger, and it was pretty boring. I can make much better burgers at home. It needed better seasoning, or really just any seasoning at all. The tequila bbq sauce was fine, but it mostly tasted like very sweet barbecue sauce. I got waffle fries with my order, and they were also just fine. Someone else at our table got the beer-battered fries, and those were much better. I do want to give them credit there. The beer-battered fries were actually quite good. I asked my wife and sister what they thought of their meals, and both of them were incredibly disappointed. My wife got a salad with chicken, and it was very boring. Again, it was something we could make better at home for cheaper. My sister got the salmon, and she was not impressed at all. I read through some of the other reviews, and I think a lot of them may be from locals, whereas I was just visiting town. But I agree with many of the negative points people have made, and I've already said it here: the food just isn't good, especially considering the prices they're charging. I'd recommend looking for a different restaurant in the area. If management happens to read this review, I think they could improve things by reviewing the quality of the food they're serving and working to improve the overall taste. Otherwise, they should consider lowering prices to better match the quality of the food. The portion sizes were good, and that is another thing I do want to give them credit for. At the end of the day, maybe we just didn't order the right things, but no one at our table enjoyed their meal enough to want to go back. This place needs a lot of work, and I hope they have better success in the future. Next time we are in town, though, we will be going somewhere else.
