Food- 4/5 Overall experience- 5/5…read more It was a fun spot to stop at to break up our drive back to Boston. The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

We were able to get a spot in front with no issue, but I imagine that this was because it was a week day. We chose the Mac and cheese and the maple pulled pork. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

My wife is a big burger fan (FYI: she raved about her burger, too), so I decided to try the place out, since we were in the area. Bit hard to locate, but parking was fine. Since the weather was good, we ate outside. There is both open air & tent-covered seating options. Speaking of seating - you must memorize your table # BEFORE going inside to order as meals are delivered to your table. I ordered the "Big Daddy M": 6oz beef, medium-cooked, with Bayley Hazen blue cheese, caramelized onions, bacon bits, garlic aioli, bibb lettuce and red onions. What a heavenly, savory combination. Each bite was full of flavor. And the French Fries? Well, super tasty as well - I ate every potato fried crumb. At other places, fries are usually bland, but not here. The order service inside was pleasant and quick; be sure to note the chalk board with a list of food options (e.g. my Wife ordered a custom burger, just the way she wanted). After ordering we went back outside to our #'d table - wait for the food was relatively quick. When done eating, just leave your baskets, etc. on the table (there is a sign stating this practice). Note: while I did not have kids here, there were plenty of families with young kids & toddlers. I definitely want to try this place a 2nd time.

The burger was made to order, and when asked how I would like it cooked, when I answered "medium", she wanted more information "medium rare or medium well"...I responded with "exactly medium". The fact that a food truck was asking for refined temperature selection was surprising, but also made me optimistic that this burger would be good. They asked how I would like it dressed, mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle were the choices, lettuce, onion and tomatoes were the vegetable options, and the cheese options were cheddar, Swiss, American and blue. I went with cheddar, mayo, ketchup and lettuce and tomato. It was one of the best burgers and fries I've had in a very long time. Cooked perfectly medium, dressed exactly as ordered, and the fries were very hot and very fresh. The coke was very cold. Another great thing is that there are picnic tables with umbrellas at the town green so we ate outside at one of the picnic tables. A perfect lunch.
