I called her office with my concerns and Heather got me in the next day. I've never been treated with such kindness and care. Dr. Shisler took time to get to know me and my medical history. I felt heard and she had a lot of invaluable information for me regarding my health and the issues I was having, including explaining the lab results from the previous OB/GYN (who still hasn't gotten back to me). My family members and other elderly patients that were patients for years had to find another PCP instantly! I've been with Dr. Arnold for 24 years and for the majority of the time, she has had the same staff. Recently a few members of the staff have been replaced with new people. I have not been impressed. Many of them are unprofessional with a lack of manors. However, Tom is great. He's quick, to the point, friendly, polite and professional. I always schedule my son and my appointments early and we are seen on time. If you are an established patient, you will find the open clinic to be helpful if you need to be seem right away. I cannot confirm the time/dates. I always avoid scheduling my appointment around that time, as the office becomes very busy and I experience a long wait.

None of my other doctors are rude, but I rarely see them (it's usually a PA) and even after 10+ years, I doubt my PCP would recognize me at an annual visit. I had been dealing with chronic pain about 6 months after I delivered my first daughter (with another OB) and was brushed off for so many years about it. It became debilitating, impacting everything from my work to my personal life. Dr Culpepper genuinely listened to me and more importantly...BELIEVED THAT I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BODY. I don't know why women's healthcare can be such an awful experience but she really turned it around for me. I've gone through a few surgeries with her and she delivered my youngest daughter. It was the most amazing experience (shout out to Medical City too, total princess treatment!). Dr. Culpepper, even if referencing notes, always comes across as someone who genuinely cares, not just someone doing a job. She's in the right field, and it shows.
