I have been going to this clinic since I was 15 years old, so for 17 years and before it was owned by Dr Tamim, today was the worst experience I have ever had and I will never go back. I sat in the waiting room for an entire hour before I was even called back and once in a room I waited for 40 minutes and was still not seen, when I found out he retired my first mind said just find another clinic to go to but me not liking change I still continued to go here. They don't even call once you haven't visited in a year for your yearly exam, which is strange to me, I am disappointed at my experience today. read more

First time at this location, I use to go to the i30 location years ago. Loved it. However went to this location recently and was Wrongly/over charged for an office visit, suppose to be 0 copay with my insurance, I have been asking for a refund for weeks with no luck. Their communication is terrible. Apparently I have to wait until the office manager is in office to get any resolution... however no one has gotten back with me in weeks, just the other day got a text response saying the office manager had called me twice the day before which is completely not true! I had no missed calls, and no voicemails. I do not think they care about customer service or their patients. They just want your money seems like. I was told to call "tomorrow" to speak with the office manager, I have been calling non stop and I wait on hold until it goes to a voicemail.... Still no luck.... I guess I will be showing up in person to get my refund between 11am and 1pm, smh! read more

This Doctors office is extremely unclean, I am almost always afraid to use their restroom when they need a urine sample because I know they aren't wiping it down after each patient from the looks of the toilet seat and floor. I should not feel like I need a shower after each visit. The rooms have visible stains/splatters on the walls, the floors need to be mopped and there is always trash and gloves hanging out of the trash cans. I once walked into a room where a bloody tool was hanging out of the trash bin, it wasn't even in the red Bio Hazard bin where it belongs. Staff in the front office are rude, inconsiderate, unorganized and do not EVER accept responsibilities when there is a mess up. Don't try to call this office for anything either because you'll either get hung up on several times, left on hold for several minutes and forgotten about or you will continue to reach their answering service. On my first visit, my benefits were unverified prior to my arrival, Therefore, I had to sit and wait way passed my appointment time that I left work for. Dr. Deleon is almost ALWAYS 2 hours behind schedule due to overbooking so expect to wait. When finally being taken back to the room to wait for the doctor, you'll have at least 20-30 minutes to notice how unkept, unclean and poorly maintained everything is. And finally, I always feel extremely rushed during my appointments and unheard. I understand this is Primarily a medicaid office where typically patients are just treated as numbers but a lot of what is allowed to go on here is unacceptable and a direct reflection of the Doctor and how he operates (Literally). I would never recommend this office to anyone expecting professionalism or cleanliness from their OBGYN. read more

The WORST gynecologist experience I have EVER had. First, the door was locked when I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was only opened 2 minutes after my scheduled time. The "nurse" took a half-assed blood pressure with the reader around my ELBOW. Then, she told me "the bathroom is right there, the cups are on the toilet. Come back when you are done" I was like... done with what? "....the pee test to see if you're pregnant." Ok, I think. Go into the bathroom and there are clear plastic beverage cups like for an office party and a black sharpie to add my name. No lids or even sterile equipment. Then, the actual gyno refused to believe me when I told him I had a medicine allergy and took 12 minutes to explain to me why I don't have an allergy and sometime so need to "deal with the side effects" to get better. WHAT?! Continuously asking what doctor prescribed what and when and why I'm taking it, even though it's on the medical history I was made to fill out before my appointment to "avoid rescheduling". This whole time there was another I identified woman in the room taking notes in a laptop behind me so I couldn't see her. He didn't tell me when he was entering me or when he was putting the speculum in. Then pulled it out without warning and used his fingers next. I felt like the test dummy they use in school to practice. He then told me I "probably have a yeast infection because my boyfriend is overweight" then said "close your legs" (they were still in the stirrups that had no indication of sterilization). No, he hadn't asked me if I had a boyfriend or even my sexual orientation. Still no answer about my back room pregnancy test. He then had me take the gown off and flip it around so the opening was in the front so he could "reach the breast". He left and re-entered about 10 seconds later, leaving the door open for the hnidentified woman. Upon her arrival, she LEFT THE DOOR OPEN during his breast exam that took a total of 7 seconds with no verbal follow up as to his findings. Door is still open. Once he was done he sat down and told me to stop going to different doctors because it will be like "the police trying to find a robber" indicating that my treatment would be difficult with different providers. Door is shut. This is the first gynecologist I've visited since I've moved to the Dallas area earlier this year. I am mortified and wouldn't be comfortable with my friends or family or ANYBODY trusting these people to your health and well being, which includes their comfort. I have never been more uncomfortable in my life in the hands of a professional, and this is the only way I know how to express that. I'm sure now that I'm posting this review, I won't ever hear the results of my Pap smear, but I'm sure they wouldn't have called anyway. read more

The nurse practitioner is fantastic. Great bedside manner, thorough, never rushed. The good ends there. I was scheduled to have surgery a week from today. I was told to call and schedule a preop visit the meet with the doctor a week before the surgery. After four days of calling, being put on hold, being sent to voicemail, leaving messages with actual people, I FINALLY got someone to talk to me (I eventually just called and got very angry with the receptionist...poor girl). Turns out I was told the wrong day for the surgery (I took off work for this week's ago), preop is NOT a week before, but three days before (again, information I needed considering I have one of those job thingies), and all of this I would've known days ago had they just returned my very first message. I ultimately let them know that if the doctor can't organize her staff better than this, I definitely do not want her cutting me open. I mean, damn, I don't want her taking out the wrong organ or anything. read more

Dr Usuga delivered my son back in 03 and I have followed Dr Usuga since that time as he has moved a few times. I have been to other doctors in between but they do not compare to my doctor. He is very nice and he explains everything to you. The receptionist is very nice and Nancy the Benefits mgr is very nice too. She explains by detail what your benefits are and what to expect to pay out of pocket. I have recommended other people here to dr Usuga office and they love this office. I would definitely give it a try if you live in this area. The wait time can be better sometimes but it only takes long when he is about to deliver a baby. But when it comes to a new life being brought into this world I will wait. read more

This place is THE WORST about making you wait WELL beyond your appointment time to see them and I've given them multiple tries. When I said something to the nurse and doctor, they said "well, we're very busy today" and when i said it was because they overbook, they tell me no? Plus, my regular doctor was out and they didnt even tell me, they were just going to send in a different doctor. Don't waste your time coming here. There are plenty of other good doctors. read more

Zero Stars !!!!!! Do not go to this OBGYN find another person i am sure anyone is better than this MAN CHILD!! Every time I went into his office no one knew how far along i was they would always ask me ? Since day one I told that man I did not want any more children i have 3 I really don't need anymore hen said okay . I signed the papers at 35 weeks pregnant to have my tubes removed. HE said that he doesn't tie them the day after LIKE EVERY OTHER OBGYN does he waits 6 weeks. Sure fine whatever so on to the next thing. I came in for my 35 week appointment and he wouldn't stop pushing for me to induce at 39 weeks . I kept telling him no I don't want to be induced i didn't have to be with my other two children they came on there own time with no complications. He said well I will tell the insurance company you ave fast delivery that way they cover it at 39 weeks?!!! Like he would not take NO for an answer. Then we go on about the epidural .... He kept pushing me to get it saying I n would be in a lot of pain and I would be screaming ... As if I hadn't already birthed 2 children without pain medication!! He compared himself to a priest he had my husband laughing about that like no sir stay in your lane ?! Man husband finally had to tell him to stop asking about it that I didn't want the medication . but at every appointment until I delivered he would ask about the induction and the epidural ?! Like NO MEANS NO !!!! So after delivery !!! I went in for a 4 week check and to schedule my tubal removal surgery this was on December 18th he said no i will do it at 7 weeks ? So we went back and fourth on this ..FOR WEEKS!!!! I didn't get the surgery until January 17th * weeks pp... When normal OBGYNS do this surgery the day after you deliver .... THEN after surgery the nurse was telling me to pick my scab off like 2 weeks after it heals ? don't know how that lady has a job. ( she works at Baylor Lakepoint ) and no where in the Post op book did it say i had stitches which for a Laparoscopy surgery they really aren't needed !! So i called the doctors office Friday the 24th 7 days Post Op to see if i had stitches .. I called at 10 am that morning got a call back the following Monday by the office nurse ?! Saying yes I do have stitches and I can come into the office today or tomorrow to have them removed .. Like when were y'all going to tell me I needed to come in like i said it was not in the post op packet they give you ... I would never recommend this so called Doctor to anyone ... Also If you have a complaint don't tell his office manager CAUSE ITS HIS WIFE !!!! And come to find out he probably didn't do the surgery me and him discussed so WERE ABOUT TO HAVE A LAWSUIT .... read more

My Dr was Zandomeni and I didn't mesh well with her. I feel she needs some more training on communication and bed side manner as a doctor. She did not deliver my baby so I can't review her delivering skills. Cons: Was told she would assist with a bill and never did. When I questioned her again after receiving another bill, she seemed irritated to deal with it and said her billing manager would contact me. The lab work was done, I just wanted to know why it was ordered again? This was a duplicate test, no one could ever explain why a lab test was run twice and I was expected to pay for it. Her nurse was extremely unfriendly. They close early if no appointments are scheduled. There is an after hours service so if you really need to speak with the Dr I presume you can. A few times I had a questions or concern and wanted to come and was unable to see them as they had closed for the day. Pros- The Dr was always quick with the exams. Dr. Usuga was very nice and seemed thorough, I did see him and his nurse once. His nurse was amazing. The girl that checks you in and out is extremely nice as well. Wait is usually pretty short, no more than15 minutes. Parking and location is phenomenal. Very convenient if you live in Rowlett, parking is right outside the building. Building is new. Always smelled and looked clean. They have their own lab in the building. read more

Dr Luis Deleon Usuga was the worst. Once I was in the room I waited to be seen for approximately 10min felt rushed the whole time. Tried to explain what was happening and why I was visiting and all be kept telling me was that it was a yeast infection and that I was over weight and I needed to get on birth control didn't talk about the pain I was having or what it can possibly be or what he was going to do next to find out all the conversations was about how I needed to take birth control and lose weight. I just wanted to find out why I was having so much pain. Never went back went with Dr. Walker and she was professional listen to me and told me what was going on. read more

Stay clear of this doctor. I regret ever going to him and trusting him with caring for me with my pregnancy. I suffered a miscarriage that not only was hard to deal with emotionally but physically he made it a bad experience! I ultimately had to have a D & C to which was not good. I suffered a infection but it appears he knew i had it proir to surgery so it caused complications landing me in the hospital for 5 days. He wouldnt release my records initially and now 3yrs later i got a PARTIAL chart and found out my surgical records with him are password protected so no one can get them in his office. ... hiding something?? Appears so. I have what the hosptial has and I have many questions but will probably never know for sure what actually happened! Sorry I ever trusted someone with something as important as my reporductive system! read more

The office was close to home and in network so I decided to make an appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early as recommended and had already done all my paperwork online. I was not called back for 40 minutes, once I was finally called back I was then put in an exam room where I waited an additional 40 minutes. The facilities, especially the bathroom did not meet any expectation and to be left sitting in the paper robe for so long was unacceptable. The final straw was the bill that came following the visit...after insurance $279 for 5 minutes of the Dr's time! Not a good experience on any level, I will not return. read more

I WAS a patient of Dr. Zandomeni for a couple of years and loved her!! Dr. Usuga is the worst. Dr. Zandomeni knew I was being treated for high blood pressure and high cholesterol by my primary care physician. She prescribed a birth control pill that would not affect my blood pressure. Never had an issue with my refills. As soon as Dr. Zandomeni leaves, all the trouble begins. For some reason, after my yearly in May of 2019, my prescription for birth control was not called in for 1 year like it had been in the past. My pharmacy called Dr. Usuga's for a refill request and they never got back to them. I had to call Dr. Usuga's office to see what was happening. FINALLY I get my refill and he changes it on me without an explanation. I didn't questions it because I was just happy I had my prescription. He only wrote it for 4 months. I now need my refill and of course my pharmacy has submitted a request to Dr. Usuga's office. I called today and left a message for the nurse. The nurse just called me and apparently because my blood pressure was a little high the last time i was there (in May for my annual with Dr. Zandomeni) he will only call in a 1 month prescription and demands I come in to make sure everything is ok before he will write it for the remainder of the year before my yearly in May of 2020!!!! I told his staff I did not understand why I had to come if he is not performing a pap smear and if I am under the care of my primary care physician who I see every 6 months for labwork and who I just saw 1 week ago and everything was fine. Ok fine...I just want my birth control. I have reached my deductible for the year so as long as I go before the end of the year, I only pay a $60 co-pay. Well he's out next week. THIS IS THE WORST OFFICE EVER. HE'S AN OB-GYN NOT AN INTERNAL MEDICINE!! read more

Do NOT COME HERE. I recently had a bad experience with this office, where DR. Lora had performed THREE STD tests on me, WITHOUT my consent or knowing. I had went in for my annual check up, and had never had what she had done to me before. My usual doctor was Zandomeni, who had always been kind and let me know what she was going to do. Unfortunately, she wasn't in that day, and Dr. Lora had seen me that day. After receiving a bill for nearly $200! for STD tests that i never consented to or asked for, I FEEL EXTREMELY VIOLATED!. I had never been checked for anything before, so how would i have known what was going on, and her response was " you could've said no". So if I am not informed on what you are doing on me, I am suppose to say no? When i reached out to the office, i had been given the run around so many times!. They leave your information to be reached out to, and weeks go by, so you end up having to call them multiple times. To the three employees i had talked to, including management and the doctor herself, they had all told me different stories regarding my situation. Addressing it to the doctor herself, she put words into my mouth, and when i mentioned filing a complaint, SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. I have been to this office multiple times, and the long wait, the employees, and disrespect is not worth it. read more

Horrible place. I would not recommend going to this office. It is disorganized. Rusted bins of gowns were overflowing and a tube of jelly was left laying on the counter opened from the previous patient. Cups of urine were left on the counter for patients to pass. Doctor could not wait to leave the room. It was my first prenatal visit and the doctor spent minimal time answering questions. I was waiting for a long time so I got up to change out of my gown to see what the wait was and someone opened the door without knocking when I was changing. After my transvaginal sonogram the doctor handed me a paper towel to wipe myself off and then offered no waste basket to throw it away and then preceded to shake my hand. I am trying to contest my charges because it was a joke of a first prenatal appointment. I am now seeing a different doctor and the facilities are so much nicer. The ultra sound is in a different room and you are given much more privacy between getting the ultra sound done and visiting with the doctor. There are much nicer places out there that you definitely should consider. read more

I haven't had an appointment yet, but I did go in once to sign a medical release bc I wanted to transfer over here bc they are closer to me, the receptionist was pretty nice I guess but I don't really like how they close the window to isolate the patients out of them, you almost have to knock on the window when you have a question or ask for a pen... I have, however been trying to call a lot of times bc I have a few questions and they never answer the phone.... They say that they are closed from 12-1 but I have called after 1 and they send me to voice mail and say they are closed.. When they finally answered me they told me to call back at 3 bc the fax lady was still on her break. After that I kept calling and they took forever to answer and they just seem rude and unenthusiastic. I hear dr usuga is nice and a good dr but I also heard it is just him who is nice.
