History

Established in 1999.

In 1999, Tom Cuthbert purchased the first Suds-R-Us location in Maplesville, Alabama and never closed it. A few years later he expanded the company with an additional location in Clanton. Since then, Suds-R-Us has focused on opening and operating safe, clean, accessible laundry facilities in our local communities for our customers. Locals and visitors alike! Today, Tom--along with his wife Glo and the entire Suds-R-Us staff--continue to operate seven middle-Alabama laundry facilities that are STILL open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to a wide range of reasonably priced coin washers and dryers, our facilities are staffed with knowledgeable laundry attendants who provide professional laundry services.
