I have never dry cleaned any piece of clothing in my life, but after a trip to New York in…read moreDecember, I decided that my winter wool coat needed to be cleaned. I dropped my coat off by itself for a regular dry cleaning. When I arrived on the date it was supposed to be ready, I was informed that they had lost the belt that cinched my coat and that they were looking for it and for me to come back three days later to see if they had found the belt. When I arrived three days later, they still had not found the belt. The employee told me that I could continue waiting, I could go ahead and take the coat as it is without the belt, or I could file a claim for the missing belt. I decided to continue to wait because the employee said that a lot of times the pieces are found in production. After a little bit more time, I arrived again to check on the belt and pick up my coat. I was informed that they still had not found the belt. My options were to leave the coat there and file a claim for the whole coat or file a claim just for the belt. I decided to file a claim, but did not want to leave my whole coat there so I filed a claim just for the belt, but to be clear the coat is not very useful without the belt that cinches the coat together. After I filed a claim for the belt, I was still required to pay the $27.70 that it cost to dry clean my now useless coat. I will never be using this dry cleaning service ever again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their clothing. Their customer service policies are horrific and problematic to say the least.

BEWARE. I was in Montgomery for training this year. Some colleagues and I dropped off 4 brand new…read moresuits to this cleaner to get dry cleaned and hopefully dewrinkled. When we picked up the suits, they looked dirtier than before and not all wrinkles were removed. New pleats were added on the pants that were nowhere close to the center of the pant fabric. We realized this is not a top of the line dry cleaner, so we were going to chalk this up as a loss and move on. However, upon further inspection of the garments, we found stains all over them, stains that resembled something like a blue pen exploded in the wash. We took the suits back and the employee said the owner would remove the stains or pay for the suits. Meanwhile, we needed the suits for a formal dinner in a matter of days so time was not on our side. We dropped them off, picked them up the next day and the majority of the staining was still there. We attempted to contact he owner several times while we were in Montgomery and had no such luck. Our training was eventually completed and we all moved our separate ways. We've since attempted to contact the owner through numerous emails which he finally responded and said he would reimburse us. It's been months since we've last heard from him, so we are pretty sure we know how this is going to end. The close proximity to Maxwell AFB makes this a very enticing cleaner to use for those on base since the base cleaner is now shut down. However, the work is very substandard and we ended up with 4 stained suits which were previously brand new. Completely unacceptable. Take your money ANYWHERE else and avoid he headache we received. Hopefully this review can prevent anybody else from having the same thing happen. I wish Yelp would let me give them 0 stars as I feel they don't even deserve 1.

This was my 2nd time returning my clothing to Jim Massey Cleaners. The initial first time and a redo service. All garments came back with a very pungent odor and the same stains, and under arms were not cleaned. The 2nd time ... same way. I first spoke with the Sturbridge manager, Cynthia about the issue and then spoke to Ashley, the District Manager .... I was told I could redo the clothes free of charge. So, I decided to bring them back hoping for better results. Ashley agreed would be ok. I got to the location and the clerk was unaware I was coming or had a clothing issue. No one informed her ...I returned them on Wednesday near closing of business and received them back this Friday. I received a text earlier that the garments were ready for pickup but when I got to location, all of garments were not back ... some remain not returned. I was told to check back after 4:00 pm that's when the truck usually comes in. No courtesy call that the other garments were now back, I had to call to confirm. I picked them up all together as the clerk suggested. However, I was Disappointed again to find that my garments still have the same horrific smell, stains, under arms not cleaned and this time they were lightly damped. I sent an email to Jim Massey company and the district manager. . Never heard anything from owner of Jim Massey ... I had to reach out to him today again, then recd a call back. And District Manager never returned my call or replied back to the email she received. 3 weeks ago this issue begin and owner never made contact until today 3 weeks later, after I called again... I had called multiple times to reach him and corporate staff and was ignored. When I finally spoke with him he was rude and unprofessional! He clearly is not into customer satisfaction or cleaning clothes as advertised . Please people ... Take your clothes to a cleaner that cares and values you as a customer!

When I dropped them off, I was told I'd receive a 20% discount because I only needed pressing. However, when I returned to pick them up, I was charged $60. When I questioned the price, the clerk was dismissive and insisted the charge was correct. I asked to speak with a manager and was given a contact number. Despite calling multiple times and leaving several messages, I have not received a single call back. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and customer service. I expected better communication and follow-up, especially when pricing changes so significantly.

When I picked up my large 16 piece order was told by staff that had an attitude I was given the discounts on all my lowest priced items. I asked why my formal dress was charge 2 different fees and did not have 50% off. Oh it had beads. Oh and the second charge happened to be exactly 50% of the original charge. So it looks like I was charge to clean the dress and also charge 50% more instead of taking it off like it should have been. I have lived in 4 states and never paid 60.00 to get this dressed dry cleaned. $129 plus bill should have been way less and I should not have had to argue with the staff. Oh well guess I will try another cleaners next time.

Yes grammatical and capitalization errors included! How is this compensation! I don't want them every touching my uniform items again! On top of that how is store credit going to help me acquire another sweater? If anything they should be paying me $50.00 for a $3.00 inconvenience fee for their ignorance, for making me drive up there twice to pick up the lost item and again tomorrow morning to argue about "compensation!" This is completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Use the Base DryCleaners or purchase your own at-home steamer, dealing with company is not even worth your time, effort, or business. Period.
