I was told how the gutter guard would get slid under the shingles and then attach to the gutters (as it should). I sign off on the estimate. And then they come to do the job. From the ground level it looked like everything was going well. I later walk upstairs to a bedroom and look out the window to find that he was installing the gutter guards OVER the shingles and drilling screws INTO my shingles!!! He was creating holes in my shingles which becomes a new source of water breaching which is the exact opposite purpose of having a roof and gutter guards. I immediately run outside to question what he is doing. I was so alarmed. He had already installed almost 1/3 of the gutter guards damaging my roof. He kept insisting that this was a standard way to install the guards. I told him absolutely not. I am very familiar with gutter guards and know very well that they have to be slid under the shingles. How can you drill screws into shingles creating holes all around my roof edge?!?! He kept promising me that it would be fine and that if there were ever a problem I can call and they would come back to remedy it no charge. I emailed the main office telling them what happened and telling them what he said. They wrote back confirming that they would come back anytime in the future for free should a problem ever arise. At that point I felt I had no other recourse because he had already installed 1/3 of the guards around my roof. So he went ahead and finished. I gave them a good review online because I trusted them that this will still be okay and they will stand by any issues that arise in the future. Fast forward 2 years later, now some of the gutter guards have loosened (obviously because they were screwed in and now the screws are getting loose). Multiple gutters have gotten clogged with leaves even though that is exactly what they were supposed to prevent. I got on a ladder and discovered the reason is because he cut the gutter guard edges with gaps from roof edge to roof edge. So there are multiple entry points for the leaves and dirt to go into. All he did was cover SECTIONS of my gutters but left gaping holes in multiple areas so that they no longer serve their purpose. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with Home Ally. I've called and left messages. No response. I've sent Thumbtack messages. No response. I've sent emails. No response. This is beyond disturbing. I had another company come to look and they said they've never seen anything so disastrous with gutter guards. And the amount of damage caused to my roof is irreversible! What was supposed to be a simple job to protect my home has turned into a nightmare now that will cost me thousands and thousands of dollars!! Stay far away from this company. They do not do quality work and clearly could care less to respond to any messages or voicemails.

I saw Shawn Reynolds' workers in the neighborhood a few blocks away and he looked over the house. He returned with more of his staff to view what was needed. I needed old rotten gutters removed and restyled new gutters installed. The roof is high, steep, with a lot of angles. The roof was removed and replaced in 3 and a half days. The gutter work took a couple of weeks because it was detailed fabrication. All went as well as it could. A hurricane and big rainstorms were no problem. Highly recommend!!

I liked that the same person who gave the quote did the work because sometimes there's some misunderstanding from what was discussed with the sales guy and what the workers understand should be done. Ben's quote was very detailed which I appreciated and he was thorough in explaining the work to be done. Anytime we had questions or an issue that had to be discussed, Ben was always available even on weekends. The work took about two extra days than expected but we were fine with that as we didn't feel Ben was sacrificing quality to rush through the work like some contractors may do. Overall we are very happy with the work and would recommend Reynolds Restoration. I attached a before and after pic of our stairs. The carpet was not done though by Reynolds Restoration but everything else was.

Then the cost of the additional repairs that were absolutely necessary, were extremely reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and the deck looks GREAT.
