Sudsville 24-hr coin laundry is a chill spot around the way. I prefer 24-hr laundromats so I can avoid people at late hours. Today I went early afternoon, and the flow was moderate. I usually park in the rear, where plenty of parking awaits. Be mindful of the obscure entrance in the rear. You may need to dodge incoming traffic as you park. The washing machines are card (plastic), and the dryers are coin only. There are options if you arrive without cash. There's an ATM and bill changing station. You will be covered if you have a bank account with funds available. There are washing machines capable of loads ranging from 20lbs to 135lbs; the dryers have two roomy sizes you can choose. If you divide your load across a few, you'll never run out of options. You will never have a hard time finding a laundry cart. The staff does a great job lining the available carts along the outside wall. All in all, I have no complaints. I will return. read more

When you have a queen-sized comforter that needs to be washed, the laundromat is often your only option. I normally visit this location either early in the morning or late at night to avoid the crowd. It is open 24 hours, so you can visit at your convenience. It is really crazy how expensive it is to run one of the washing machine. The appropriate sized machine that I need takes about 10 bucks to run. The dryers thankfully are cheaper to operate and typically don't take long to dry your items. The have an ATM onsite for your convenience, with only a .99 transaction fee. The most affordable transaction in this laundromat. The location is fairly clean, but many times, the machines are often faulty, they will eat your quarters. The people who work at this location are a mixed bag. Sometime they are really helpful, other times, you cannot even find the worker on duty. To avoid any possible issues, I would suggest just swiping your credit card at the washing machine or dryer. All and all, the location gets the job done. read more

My daughters clothes caught on fire in their dryer 3t clothes I frequent this place very often and have washed the same clothes I know for a fact it was nothing in my clothes flammable if so why haven't my clothes caught on fire on the multiple occasions I've came to this place. They have conventional washers and then, wait for it, 20 lb for $3.00 a load, 30 lbs for $4.00 a load, 40 lbs for $5.00 a load, 60 lbs for $7.50, 80 lbs for $9.50, 135 lbs (yes you read that right!!!) for $18.50 - you could wash all your clothes, your kids clothes, your parents clothes and your neighbors clothes at once!!! For dryers, they have big blue ones called GIANTS and six quarters will dry your biggest load of jeans and towels in 18 minutes- what??? I can get away with doing laundry every 3-4 weeks and when I come here I spend less than two hours and $20.00 for 3-4 loads and if that isn't a deal, I don't know what is! Last time I was here I counted the washers and dryers just to let you know the size of the business you are dealing with -- they have 141 washers (see sizes above) and 140 dryers. Every time I come there are plenty of open ones so no worries there! Guess what else? You don't need to stop at the bank to get quarters! Their machines can give change for anything from $1-20 and that's a lot of quarters!!! Oh and if you forget your laundry soap like I have, they have Tide, Gain, Wisk, Clorox, Downy, Bounce and laundry bags all for $1.00! read more

The attendant swept up someone's dropped piece of laundry and put it in my basket. The dustbin was disgusting and it was extremely unhygienic. I told her that she put trash in my basket and she said "okay". This place is not what is used be in the least. Two just washed shirts were drying on the basket as well while I was waiting for my other clothes to dry. I came here to clean my clothes once not twice. read more

I had an emergency to get laundry down since the dryer went out and needed a good place to go! I agree with the other reviews that this place was very clean and had plenty of washers and dryers of varying sizes! They had a 135 lb. load washer that was $18.50, 80 lb. washer for $9.50, 60 lb. washer for $7.50, 40 lb. washer for $5.00 and a 20 lb. washer for $4.00. They also had a smaller top load washer for delicates and a few sinks as well. The dryers were extremely efficient and you get anywhere from 5-6 minutes for $0.25 depending on using the regular dryers or the big blue Giant dryers. There were about 5-6 coin machines and plenty of vending machines as well. I found all washers and dryers in working order unlike other laundry mats that have 10-15% of their machines not working. read more

My first visit here was the end of May. It was not as crowded for a Sunday as I expected. It was clean and the machines were operational and cleaned by staff. I still brought Lysol for the washer machine to clean out but I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient this location was. read more

I've been to many laundromats, and this one takes the cake for sure! As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a well-lit, well-ventalated and spacious facility. There are multiple cash to coin machines, as well as plenty of wheeled baskets, so no need to worry about competing for them. They have newspapers to read as well as a couple TV's for entertainment. There are vending machines with various little snacks (But if you're really hungry, it's best to go to the IHOP next door during your wash cycle) They even have an ATM if you don't have any cash on hand, which I found very useful. The machines themselves are clean, work well, and have many size options. The only thing that I think would make this place even better would be a couple of arcade machines (Think Pac-Man or Bubble Pop) but hey, most people have those games on their phones already. All in all a wonderful laundromat, and if I need to use one again, this would be it! read more

Perfect for my needs. Giant machine to wash all 6 comforters at once. Fortunately, I can read a little and part of the instructions were on the machine so I was able to figure it out but it would have been nice for an attendant to be available because I didn't realize I had to use the step ladder to put the detergent in at the top of the machine and I should put the detergent in first. Heads up to giant machine users - It doesn't give a price until you finish making your wash selections. Machine just says "Starts at $19". I forgot how much it was, probably $20. I lost count and just kept putting in quarters until it started. It only took 30 minutes to wash. That seems fast, maybe too fast but I'm not complaining. Nobody wants to sit in a laundromat all day no matter how nice it is. My comforters were noticeable clean so I'm satisfied. The big dryers were FAST too. I put 3 comforters in at a time. It took less than 15 minutes to get the lighter ones dry. I put the heavier ones in for 9 or 12 more minutes and I was out of there. They lost a star because I walked around the whole place looking for someone to help me but saw not one person. They magically appeared when I was packing up to leave. One more thing-parking in front with big windows so it's convenient to just go sit in your car instead of on the hard seats. read more

They have a wide selection of washers and dryers and can handle anything from a super small load to a extra large load. The prices vary depending on which you use, so you won't get charged for what you're not using. Will definitely return!! I came here after working both my jobs. I found out this was open 24 hours. So I decided to come on a Friday night around 11:30 PM. The location was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. I had some quarters but did my research seeing they accepted credit cards. I know I needed to do a big load but didn't realize how large a load could be. I obviously didn't have 80 pounds worth but about 30-40. I used the washer that washed in 30 minutes or so. I had used this for my colored clothes but a small load of whites. I used the smaller washers. There were lots of options and not even 5 people onsite. The woman working was very nice and was very informative to me when I inquired the amount of quarters to use for drying. I was going to just go home and fold my finished clothes. But I was so comfortable I decided to fold all my clothes. I even noticed areas that had room for hanging clothes. I would definitely recommend and return. I normally do laundry at my apartment complex but the washing machine is broken and has been for over a month. read more

I love how large these machines are. They don't seem to damage my clothes either which is a huge plus. They have a ton of washers of all sizes, they even have tiny ones for dedicates next to hand sinks you can scrub them in. They have plenty of folding tables and a few tv's around you can comfortably watch. The facilities are usually well kept with multiple bathrooms and vending machines. They also have dispensers in case you forgot your detergent or dryer sheets. All in all I don't mind doing laundry here one bit! read more

Every now and again a machine will take a quarter or two and won't reject. It annoys me but its not always easy to spot the attendant when I need them so I just deal with it. Most of the machines have gum in the dryers as well but other than thise 2/3 things I wash in peace. read more

This location has dozens of machines, including really huge washers. I was able to do 4 loads in under a couple hours. The dryers were fast! There's also a car wash on the property, so you could take care of while the machines are working & save some time. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that they don't have much seating. I couldn't really relax while waiting. Their wifi service was decent, though, so I was able to distract myself with mah-jong. I'll definitely go there again. read more

Lucky me! I get to venture out on a dreary Sunday afternoon to a laundromat after I don't know many years of having an in home washer dryer set. I drove to sudsville from Columbia as there were no comparable options nearby my house -- I just knew from its local reputation (it's been around for years and years w a regrand opening after expanding a few thousand sq ft in the 2000s) and 4.5-star Yelp status that sudsville was probably the option I had access to in order to tackle the great task at hand. I was pleased to find I made the right decision in driving the extra miles to get there. Despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon, parking was ample as patrons were steadily loading up and pulling out - the lot was full but i didn't have to wait long to nab a convenient space. I arrive to find exactly what I needed, carts ready and waiting outside, three washers and plenty of seating to wait for the load. It was an overall pleasant afternoon. Apart of it being very clean and well kept with plenty of conveniences available, I was in and out with no waiting and that to me made the drive worthwhile. Sudsville has my vote as an above standard laundromat made w customers in mind. read more

The location was very spacey with plenty of washers/dryers. I haven't done a full load of laundry in 3-4 months because of a massive amount of anxiety of going to a place I've never been before (have always had the privilege of access to washer/dryer in the past) and have no idea how to use anything. I did like that the washing machines were separated by the weight of your load, but the washing machine I used for one load was $6 to run because I couldn't immediately find the washers below 30 pounds and didn't want to wander like an idiot. Had also forgotten laundry detergent due to said anxieties and had to pay another $1.25 for detergent for one load. After running my card & putting my clothes in the machine, it would not register that the door to the machine was closed. After a few tries, I went around the corner and found a woman who was sweeping and I went up to her and said "excuse me" and while I was asking my question, she promptly interrupted me by saying "hello" "hello" "how are you today" as if to correct me for not addressing her correctly, when I said excuse me since I was interrupting her task. This caused a lot more anxiety as I did not see why she was acting so rudely towards me when I was asking for help. She was able to help me after that interaction by trying a couple more times with opening and closing the door. The dryer system was 25¢ per 5 minutes with the medium sized dryers, but I only saw medium sized and giant sized dryers. I had two loads to do, but only finished up my first one (which the entire cycle costed me over $10) and left and will probably not be returning unless absolutely necessary for larger items. read more

I ventured out around 9:30pm on a Sunday night, hoping no one would be there so I could take my time and figure out what the heck I was doing. I was wrong, it was slightly crowded. But there were still many washers and dryers to choose. I thought I was in need of one of the largest washers but the kind attendant corrected me and saved me over $5. We chatted for over 15 minutes. Shitty service out money in a machine that obviously doesn't work. Yet no out of order sign. Yet they don't wanna give you the money so u can switch machines to wash your close. I see how they treat disabled people who live in a fixed income. Just horrible service. The attendant calls management because it's over $10. U have a machine over $10 yet u don't want to give the refund so they can switch machines and wash their clothes. Excuse after excuse after excuse trying to steal money. One of the clearest laundry mats I have been too. So many washers and dryers. I put towels and jeans as well as sweatshirts in for 30 minutes and not only were they dry but super hot. No waste of money on this place. Small washers up to 60 pound loads. I am so happy to find this place to use while my washer is in repair mode. read more
