I found this service on yelp. Thanks to all the yelpers. My dryer broke. I called the service. Real nice customer service on the phone. They did not have next day service available. So. They picked up laundry next day. If you have over 3 bags. They return it in 3 days not counting the weekend. So. Wednesday pick up. Monday delivery back. Everything folded neatly. Smells great. Packed very nicely. I recommend. I just think their communication could be a little better. I never got the receipt for services. So couple days after they dropped it off. They emailed me that it was past due. If they would have sent receipt earlier or called. I would have submitted the payment asap. So only one suggestion better communication. read more

Oh, screw these guys to the moon. I'm in Baltimore (we'll, stuck would be a better word). Their hours said they were open (8:45 am), so I drove from downtown to this place. The folks inside would not open up and told me they would not open until 10 am. I don't care how good their actual service is, this is crazy-bad. Also, their phone doesn't work. LOL. What a clown show. All I got for trying to give these folks some business was a tour of this pit of a city. read more

Our laundry machines broke and brought our mountain of laundry to S&R. The staff inside were SO KIND, professional and calm. They even let me borrow a cart to my car. Our laundry was completed in the promised estimated time and folded wonderfully. I will be back. read more

Wonderful experience!!! In the process of moving and our washing machine and dryer both quit working. We're moving this weekend and I didn't have any spare time to go to the laundromat, especially with 2 young kids. So I called S and R and it was an excellent decision! The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and explained everything. They did my laundry in a timely manor and even handled a special request without hesitation. S & R Laundry picked up about 30 lbs. of my laundry on a Wednesday morning, and, as scheduled, delivered them back to me on the following Friday. I am thoroughly impressed and very happy with my clean laundry! They brilliantly folded and put into ight weight plastic bags, everything neat and condensed, so it was easy to carry back inside. They don't seem to have the standard "dry cleaning" set-up I would expect, but they have dry cleaning services and everyone I met there is lovely, so I gave them a shot. They seem to be much better set up for a laundry service instead of a dry cleaners - my mistake - however all my clothes came back smelling so disgusting I won't be able to wear them (like terrible body odor combined with the bad cologne that stings your throat when you smell it) and I am now taking them to a different cleaners to see if the problem can be resolved. A quick google search indicates that a bad smell after dry cleaning means the dry cleaning process wasn't properly implemented - I would go back for a simple laundry service, but will go to a more standard dry-cleaner from now on - lesson learned. (Edit - I was told that it's only a possibility that the new cleaners will be able to get the smell out and they confirmed the smell is caused by dry cleaning solvent still in the clothing). read more

I have been using their laundry services for more than a year now and I have never had a reason to complain. The pickup and drop service was very convenient for me. Once we set up our schedule, I rarely had to even reach out, it was that easy. But contacting them was never an issue, Ruth was always just a text away for any questions. Thank you! I used S&R laundry several times after initially purchasing a Groupon deal. The owner was worked with me to pick-up and return items in a timely fashion. However, after using them several times they ruined a brand new dress that I had only worn once before entrusting them to clean it. Simeon (the owner) admitted that the dress had been ruined, but instead of compensating me for the cost of the dress he offered me $65 in free dry cleaning? Seriously? Why would I want more dry cleaning services from you after you just ruined a new garment and refused to replace it. I am a small business owner myself, and on the rare occasions that we don't meet customers' expectations we provide a 100% refund and do whatever it takes to compensate the customer. This is what I expected from S&R Laundry, but they didn't deliver. I will NEVER use their services again and I suggest that any other customers proceed very cautiously before entrusting them with your garments. read more
