They charge by square footage yet they did not clean two rooms in my house. I messaged to let them know and they said they would come back and fix things (they didn't vacuum around the couch, they didn't wipe down the dining table, didn't dust bookshelves, and much more) so we scheduled an appointment for them to come back. At the appointment time they didn't show. They didn't call, text, or email to let me know what was going on. I had to follow up. I tried rescheduling again and they were not agreeable. I finally asked for a refund and they refused. They charge extra for having pets yet don't clean the dog hair. They came every other week for a little while after receiving a "deep clean". They didn't deep clean, they didn't even wipe down the base boards! I definitely don't recommend. They are way too expensive for the horrible service they provide. Scheduling was a nightmare. I scheduled each cleaning around my schedule and what worked for my family. Each week they asked me if they could show up hours early. Today was our second cleaning from Sudsy Buckets. Last time Emily cleaned for us and today Cara was here. I can't not say enough about how thorough they both were on each visit. That was my expectation but beyond that both were extremely kind, accommodating, timely and worked efficiently. I recently tried to work for this company. Very sketchy . Was told it was house keeping . This is construction cleaning house was totally empty . I was told to show up for training to just watch with one other girl. Get there it's 3 guys and their telling me to clean . Car magnet did not match up company name . The van had duck tap blocking out all ways to see inside van . 2 guys just standing around not cleaning cornered me . Another guy walking around with huge backpack walking back and forth . I scheduled a deep clean the day before Thanksgiving and was utterly disappointed. Literally nothing in my home was dusted. The floors in the bathrooms and laundry room were not swept or mopped. My kitchen countertops were not wiped down. On top of all that, the cleaning solution he used on the appliances left white residue all over my hardwood floors. The team who cleaned my rental home was excellent and seemed trustworthy; genuinely interactive but focused on their job. They were professional, on-time, and I liked that they're insured and bonded. I was worried that by hiring an actual company and not an individual cleaner that the prices would be too expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised how affordable Sudsy Buckets was for the thorough, quality cleaning that was presented. They fully delivered. I called to get maid service done for the holidays. I had separated my shoulder making things more difficult. I spoke with the owners 3 times. Richard came and did a fantastic job, but the owners screwed me. They are just cleaners, so they would not clean anything that was on the counter. So they would not move the Toaster, and clean under it. This was for every room, and the fridge! Who expects you to clean out the fridge? I paid extra for that. do not use this company. you will also see the same posting under the company blue skies cleaning service. i had used sudsy buckets under the founding owner monthly for a year and a half and had given them excellent ratings. the business was sold to a company called "blue skies" based in another state. blue skies told the original owner not to say anything they would introduce themselves to the existing clients, as they still intended to operate as sudsy buckets locally. my introduction came when i received my credit card statement a few months ago with the name blue skies as the drafting account. i was just about to contact my credit card company to dispute the bill when my son googled blue skies and found out they are a cleaning service. at that point i called the owner of sudsy buckets on his cell phone thinking he had just changed his billing service. he told me he had sold the business several months back to blue skies. he now lives in a different state. i immediately called the phone number on my credit card statement for blue skies and asked what was going on. the gentleman who indicated he was the new owner said he intended to and thought he could continue to operate as sudsy buckets. he apologized for not reaching out to us prior to taking money from my account he thought it would still appear as sudsy buckets on my credit card. someone from his headquarters was going to be coming down to contact the current clients and set-up accounts. you cannot operate as any business without filing paperwork with the state! i went online and searched on florida's department of state division of corporations, "sunbiz" (dos.sunbiz.org) and could find nothing indicating they are licensed to operate in the state of florida under either fictitious name, sudsy buckets or blue skies. they seem to hold no florida license to operate. when the business operated as sudsy buckets, r.h. the owner gave me a copy of his business license, state filing registration and liability insurance policy. he also confirmed that each of his employees was criminally background and reference checked. i asked blue skies for the same information and guarantees and all i heard was silence! ... they never did come to meet with me, wanted to change my housekeepers, could not guarantee a consistent, time, day or housekeeper. are not licensed in florida, have no liability insurance or proof of background and reference checking their employees! so i guess they expect you are going to open your home to a revolving door of people and they have no florida license, liability or other routine business operating assurances and they could not keep any employees nor hire any! employees were leaving faster than they could hire them. on florida's division of corporations "sunbiz", all listings under blue skies cleaning services, have expired and there is no sudsy buckets either! technically they illegally obtained, charged and took payments from my credit card, without my permission, had no florida license, contract or agreement. i could have the payments reversed! read more
