Our clothes and sheets have been returned with stains that have easily come out with a quick soak by hand on the last couple of batches. What's quite unfortunate is the fresh laundry smell has been long gone even at pick-up. Sadly, COVID and related closures have had quite the impact on many businesses, and this one is no exception.

CAR MATS, the car mats you step on when you sit in a car. I have never in my entire life seen this before. There's people washing their clothes in these machines but you never know what people put in them. What makes it worst is the employee saw them putting the mats in the washer and didn't say anything. Nothing!! she didn't say nothing to them. After today, I will never come back here and I hope I'm not itching in my clothes because I don't know what was put in the washer before me. Please be careful where you wash your cloths. I will try to take a picture if possible but they keep looking around because I think they know the mats are not suppose to be in the washer. No this please was quite unique the two women seem angry about just being alive. I think they are fighting at the moment maybe about who washed more clothes today or who is more upset. The washers are cool they have this new technology that's called dry washing where the clothes are washed with no water at all or the bare minimum. Did I also mention there is no hot water. When my washer and dryer both recently decided to retire, I felt the need to seek a place to clean my laundry. Orchid Laundromat came to my calling. The laundromat appears to be clean with several folding tables, newer stainless steel washers/dryers. There are more machines to use and the number of quarters to feed them are reasonable (i.e. $2.25 for a double loader, $3.25 for a triple loader, .25 cents per six min drying time). The convenience of free Sunday or resident street parking are available. My inherited old washer and dryer have served my family well and resting a landfill (or recycling their parts). I'm sure they would be happy that we found suitable place to do the laundry.

The last time was around 6am and I have to say that's really the best time to come here. It's empty at that point and the attendant is usually cleaning at that time and you have your pick of baskets, washers and dryers. No mad scramble for a cart or a machine and that's just how I like it. I do wish that the machines also took coins along with it's current feature of taking the laundry card just because I have loads of coins on me - usually enough to do laundry - and I can't actually add it to the laundry card without turning it into a paper bill first. The laundry card machine takes bills and card. I've only ever used cash because I don't trust it with my card info. You never know where a skimmer may be lurking. All in all, if you're looking for a 24 hour laundromat to wash your linens or clothes, come here. You shouldn't be disappointed.
