Amy - like everyone else in the area - was completely booked up on the Friday/Saturday that I was hunting for. But after she could tell I was desperate, she STAYED LATE on Saturday to squeeze me in. And it was seriously awesome. Fantastic, relaxing, thorough massage. Now we communicate about appointments via text. She contributes to the pittie rescues in the area. She lets me know when she has an opening on the weekends (to support my work schedule). She asks about my pets. She laughs at my jokes. She offers me protein shakes or water when the massage is over. She warns me before she puts on the hot stones (even though I wish she didn't, the shock is awesome). She uses Square for CC payments, which is convenient as all get out. Oh yah, she gives rockstar massages, too. I always feel like a million (super relaxed, worthless for a couple of hours) bucks after leaving her office. Sandra is by far the most phenomenal massage therapist I have ever encountered. We had be usual pre-massage consultation where we discussed what was going on for my body, my line of work, and the general "what's up?" that would help Sandra figure out where to begin. She immediately knew how to address an injury that has baffled many physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists. Sandra is an amazing communicator, which I find essential to a successful session. Throughout our session Sandra continued to ask very specific questions pertaining to my injury, and make connections to other facets of life, etc. I could tell she was just hell-bent on getting to the bottom of the issue. After the massage was finished, we spent a good 15 minutes going over anatomy charts where Sandra walked me through the varying muscles, ligaments and joints that were the likely culprits of my injury. We discussed next steps and created a plan of action that would see me through back to a pain-free existence.
