In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. Frisco ISD requires background checks for volunteers and other purposes. If you plan to volunteer or have been instructed to submit a background check go to their website to get the instructions. They have an app where the Children Can place and order their meals. Students in FISD are served healthy and delicious foods by award-winning employees in their Child Nutrition Program. The management team serving have successfully completed state and nationally approved certification classes in nutrition education, culinary education, administration, communication, operations, marketing, training and food safety. Input from students and parents is utilized for menu adjustments annually. Healthy snack choices are provided and nutrition education classes are a part of the curriculum as the Child Nutrition Department works with educators to help students learn about nutrition and exercise as part of a life-long lifestyle. After consuming the burger, I must make haste to the water locker (bathroom) for my digestive system can not withstand the power of the burger buns with an overlaying shade of green. Trust me, I love this school, I live in the school, and I own this school. I would know. Also, every time I get an ice cream sandwich it has already melted to an extent, even though it has been in a cooler. The ice box should be colder.

The kids I have worked with are wonderful and always so respectful. The school seems to be kept in good condition. Parking can be difficult in the back lot by the gym if you're there when school lets out. The traffic flow isn't designed well. Overall a nice school!

Raccoon Rally was a success; we appreciate everything the teachers and administrators do to make entering high school a positive experience. We have two other recent FHS graduates and they both cried on their last day of school, if that tells you anything about how great FHS is. (I literally ran from my school on the last day! Ha) Our older kids miss FHS and all the wonderful staff and teachers. It was a high-quality experience they will never forget.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Legacy Christian Academy. Our three kids absolutely…read morelove going there and genuinely enjoy the environment and the friendships they're building. One of the things we appreciate most is how the school integrates faith into learning. It's very important to us that our children are learning about Jesus and growing spiritually while also receiving a strong education. The field trips are another highlight -- they're well organized, fun, and give the kids great opportunities to learn outside the classroom.
