Which she ends up being his biggest bully causing him to have "behavioral" problems, which he never displayed before. Leaving that entity has been my kid's best thing. he is an in G&T class and has not had one issue. I really wished I followed the other family's precedent and sent a recorder with my kids. They at least got proof teacher issues.

He was very deep into football and the football coach ran his offense as if the children were in college, meanwhile all the classes are accelerated. My son felt frustrated and alone with out support. There are no real christian values taught to show in his practical life. For as much as these folks wave the bible, they ridicule and bully their student body. The worst decision I made ever made, dont make this decision to take your kid there without knowing that these folks are mean, they are not forgiving and they dont have one christian bone in their judgemental bodies. Its run like a cult where everyone has to drink the water and their message with out question. No one is given compassion. If you call and decide to have a conference with the upper management or teachers, you will learn that your having a conference with the whole team, which makes you feel like their on the offensive before you even discuss your grievance. Speaking and talking to people as an adult about your grievances' isnt really permitted either. If you were really speaking outside of the school on the interaction and support about the school and the parents were not being recorded, they would tell you everything is horrible and its really not a good place but for fear of losing their son or daughters favor in the school, everyone remains quiet. The teachers and principles are all nepo babies and each person has been a track coach, a principal, a guidance counselor....then their husband or wife gets dragged in and becomes a part of the "team" where your not really learning from the best people but just who is avaliable and will subscribe to their "way of doing things" Its not a nice place for my son to grow up and I am glad I got out before he lost his sense of freedom and his self esteem. He left his junior year, and he worked harder to achieve because public school doesnt accept religious classes as history but I dont regret his decision to move on. In the end he made it to college just fine. Were fine but felt a need to speak my families truth. If you wanna waste your families money and time, send them to this school, point blank. My family makes good money and we are educated so this isnt an assessment from someone reckless, just someone that doesnt like to be bullied. Thank you

PCA is a Christian school - unapologetically standing on the Word of God for authority and guidance in all matters, including those pertaining to life, culture, gender, sexuality, etc. Those students who are unwilling to follow Biblical principles relating to God's design for gender and sexuality will find PCA frustrating not because the students and faculty are unloving or not caring, but because they are running counter to God's best for their lives. Period. My wife and I both work at PCA, all three of our children have attended PCA, and we have loved our time here at this school. PCA places Christ at the center of all that is done and while some have "complained" that PCA is an economically elite school, I have been amazed to see how far this school will go to make a Kingdom education available to any family that wants it! PCA raises and gives away literally millions of dollars for families to be able to attend - and PCA is at the forefront of trying to educate our state legislators on different educational funding opportunities to help address the cost of private education - instead of blaming PCA for providing an excellent education, those who are frustrated with the cost should be contacting their state legislators and asking why other states have passed laws that make private education more affordable and Texas hasn't. I personally know the students who have taken the time to write their negative reviews and I feel sorry for their anger and frustration, but again, their perspective of the school is really more of a commentary on their perspective on Biblical Christianity itself. If you want a school that adheres to the principles of Scripture and isn't tossed to and fro by the winds of the current cultural chaos, the comments of these students should help you understand that PCA isn't willing to compromise on Biblical truth. My prayers are with those students that they would one day know the truth and the truth would set them free.

I personally know the students who have taken the time to write their negative reviews and I feel sorry for their anger and frustration, but again, their perspective of the school is really more of a commentary on their perspective on Biblical Christianity itself. If you want a school that adheres to the principles of Scripture and isn't tossed to and fro by the winds of the current cultural chaos, the comments of these students should help you understand that PCA isn't willing to compromise on Biblical truth. My prayers are with those students that they would one day know the truth and the truth would set them free.

In the rules of volleyball you cannot touch the net or go under the net. A player on CDA went under the net completely onto the other side of the court and this could have been a huge danger to the other team. She is lucky that she didn't hurt herself or anyone on the other team. This school is teaching UNSAFE sportsmanship and it needs to be shared.

After touring the school, we learned that the students are offered advanced opportunities in several areas. The Smart Lab, available on all grade levels, teaches modern technological skills. Their attention to specialized learning for students with dyslexia and similar handicaps was encouraging to see. Teachers have been very friendly and welcoming. My grandchildren are happier than they were at a different Christian school and are excelling here at POPCS. Looking forward to many more years to enjoy this institution as the girls grow up.

Fast toward to us finally touring the school and hauling my kids there, we never received applications. It was a hassle to get a hold of someone even when school was in session. Sometimes a teen would answer the phone. I'm not sure but it was unorganized. The school itself had a lot going on inside. They never mentioned fees etc in the walk through. Told me they had spots open for my kids months go by and no word. Until I finally hear back and the spots are filled and we were 2 weeks from our deadline for picking a school. Poor commutation. Hard to reach (They mentioned summer hours but even then the amount of calling and voicemails I left while school was in session and right after still give no excuse.) The concept is great, but still a very dispose experience to say the least. They need better organization and communication.

As in any school or establishment individual experience is going to be different, depending upon the teacher in classroom in with your child is placed. I picked my child up today only to hear her screaming at him through the door. I arrived early to pick him up. As I approached the classroom door I heard her yelling at him to go to sleep calling him a baby and telling him he needs to go to the baby room since he won't sleep. My son was crying telling her he didn't want to go to the baby room saying "I'm a big boy". This was not a stern or firm teacher voice, this was screaming and berating my son in front of his classmates during their nap time. My son should not have had to go through that, the other children in the class should not have had to hear that. As a former teacher myself this is NO WAY in which to speak to a child, especially for not napping. This "teacher" does not deserve the title and should not be working with children. Once she came to the door, her tone completely changed, she became extremely soft spoken and sweet. The hypocrisy was ridiculous. I mentioned the experience to the front staff as the director of the school was not there. They apologized.
