I set up an appointment for this past Monday, and Lydia was very accommodating with my schedule. Both Jamie and Lydia are very talented, professional, and all around great people. I couldn't of asked for a better experience and my hair cut was outstanding. My haircut was so great and affordable I might add, that I setup an appointment for my son (who is 8) for this Saturday. My son walked into Cabello Vida Salon having the hair of a 90's British Rock Band (think Oasis), and came out looking great and much more his age. Again, Lydia was great and gave my son a ton of attention both to him and his hair (which was needed because this was his very first real professional haircut). Lydia had a great attention to detail, and really took her time making sure his hair was just right. I highly recommend Cabello Vida Salon. I recommend it so much that I will be bringing my daughter (who is 5) in to get her first professional haircut in the next couple of weeks, and that should be interesting. I'm confident that Lydia will do another outstanding haircut. I'm posting a few pictures of the place, and also one with Lydia and my son (pre-haircut of course). My son doesn't want the world to see his new haircut before the kids at school can see it on Monday. I went into the hair salon expecting rejection but I was waited on very quickly. The stylist was Jessica Goodself. Jessica had just had a cancellation and was willing to take me. I let her know that I wanted to cut my long hair and get it styled. I have an idea of an old hairstyle are used to have but I knew I needed to do something a little bit different so I asked her for her opinion. She put some things up online and looked at the picture I had and I told her that as long as it was in that ballpark she could do whatever she needed to do because she's the stylist and would know. She booked me for 9 AM and told me she charged $175.00 an hour. I thought to myself self, okay it should only take 1 1/2 as I have short hair. She started with a clarification treatment that lasted 50 minutes, was she really going to charge me $175 an hour to sit me under a heater?? At the trail she asked for ideas and photos and was open to all suggestions. After the trail Ty kept in contact and made small adjustments, keeping notes and giving me a pre wedding how to get ready. On the day Ty was an absolute gem to work with. She is kind, caring and has great attention to detail. My hair is so hard to work with yet Ty made sure every aspect was addressed and it lasted the whole day and night even in the pouring rain. My hair was beautiful and my makeup was perfect!
