I wish I had taken photos where the polish ran into my cuticle, they missed spots on my nails, they barely cleaned up my cuticles and the polish was applied streaky. Another thing I noticed which may be language barrier issue is the ladies are not friendly at all. I began to get worried when the tech never brought me the book of nail colors to choose from, but figured maybe she would have me choose later on. I am a very non confrontational person and did not want to make a fuss about anything--I figured whatever color I got would be better than I could do at home. Wrong. The nail tech finished prepping my nails and removing the gel polish and proceeded to pull out the polish used for French tip manicures (which I didn't even realize until after the second coat--she put on the first coat and it was looking pretty sheer, but I thought it would be better with the second coat). After the second coat it arguably looked worse. The nails were bubbly and messy, with some of my nails having pools of polish on the sides. We ended up showing the owner who said "the sheer colors usually turn out like that." It was obvious that we were not happy with how my nails turned out, yet he didn't say anything else. Not once did I ask for the sheer color, nor did he notice (in his very quick glance) the bubbly, messy look of my nails. I could have done a better job. His lack of customer service was astounding. And, to top it all off, my mom's nails chipped horribly only one day after getting them done! I repainted them myself the day after. It appears that unless you're getting gel nails, this salon does not care about giving you a quality manicure. I will never return to this salon.

The salon is clean and has a nice overall atmosphere. It doesn't smell of chemicals as soon as you walk in and is well ventilated. I got a powder gel and Michael did it. He s very nice and takes pride in his work. I would go back. Prices are the standard with most nail salons in the area. I do t think it's over priced like some salons that don't do a great job and have rude people. Getting my nails done is a seldom treat for me and I don't mind paying more as long as the staff is friendly and know what they're doing. Customer service is important to me and Sunny Girl nail salon knows how to treat their clientele right. Check it out if you're in the area.
