A year ago I moved back to San Diego and i drive to Huntington Beach every 3 or 4 weeks, her job is EXCELLENT It is a long drive, so my husband asked me to try a place near home (San Diego) and on Friday I tried a new place, the result was terrible. This is for the Mission Hills location and for both Leah and Jer! They both were excellent in their customer service! I had an appointment with Leah and Jer was so kind to give me prep advice before the appointment since this was my first time getting extensions. When I got to my appointment Leah was so welcoming and kind and put me at ease right away. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I had hoped for! Update: it's been 17 days since the appointment and though about half of my lashes have fallen out they're still looking nice. I'm happy that they haven't fallen out in an odd manner, so my lashes look natural still but less full. Some lash extensions became loose (I'm new to this so I guess oil from my skin or since I go to the beach a lot, there's a lot of heat and wind that comes into contact with them) and they would twist and sometime end up poking me in the eye. I have always wanted to try lash extentions and I'm so glad I found Jer to do them. My lashes are naturally long but sparse. I was beyond pleased when she finished and I looked in the mirror. Jer, the owner, did my lashes for the first time back in July. They were beautiful!! I received many compliments on them. The best thing was that my lashes stayed looking full and fresh for a very long time. I didn't lose a single lash until after about 2 weeks. Even then, the rest remained on for a long while. I can't explain how happy and satisfied I am with the service I got! thanks to JER. She's amazing at what she does and has a wonderful personality she make's you comfortable when ever she's doing your waxing and I'm committed to her from the day I met her! I remember my very first Brazilian wax and I was very scared and uncomfortable having it done but Jer was so friendly and she makes the environment so comfortable that you won't even notice it. And the wax that she uses is the Sugaring which is better than the hot wax from my experience because when she was not available I went to a hot waxing salon so I can personally compare the sugaring and hot wax with one another. After I had the hot waxing for my Brazilian I noticed that my hair down there is growing more faster than the regular sugaring wax that I get in sugar bae salon which the hair grows slower. So after that experience I'll never go back to hot waxing again and I'll stick to sugaring wax at sugar bae salon. Wow! Jer is absolutely amazing! I scheduled the day before my services, hydro facial and lash extension. She was very quick to respond to my messages. This was my first time getting a facial so I was unsure of which one I should have done. Jer examined my skin/face when I arrived and gave her recommendation, which was the hydro facial. My skin feels brand new and refreshed. We're taking baby steps into the facials just to make sure my skin doesn't react negatively to the treatment. I have dry, sensitive skin - eczema. Just got back from my first lash appt with Leah. She's seems nice but there wasn't any relaxing music and I wasn't given a brush for after care. Honestly, that's not important just thought I should point it out since others have commented on it. I've been getting my eye lashes done for over 2 years and this was average not horrible but I must say that Leah is not the gentle type. She had to remove my left over lashes and it was so painful. Weird thing is everytime I would react she never apologized or attempted to care. And to make it worst, when it was done, she pulled off the tape so fast that I felt like she ripped off a layer of skin! It looks Ok but everytime I blink I can feel the glue at the corner of my eyes. This was a one time trip since my reg lash lady was booked. Needed it quick for vacation next week. Will not be back.
