A guy met us right off the shuttle to sell chairs and an umbrella. I think both together was under $20. While you're on the beach, there's people selling drinks, food, jewelry, etc. We were approached by a woman who took our order for one fried snapper, a couple of sides and two beverages (one alcoholic, one mocktail). We paid $99 for this. Make sure you have cash because it's easier to pay for things on the beach. We didn't have enough cash to pay so I had to get the establishments Cash App and pay that way. Or you can go to an ATM on site. Now... we had a great time relaxing on the beach, the view is absolutely beautiful plus the clear water BUT if you want something less crowded, I would say to find another beach. There were water activities like snorkeling, taking photos on a clear kayak, and so on so that was nice. There are also surrounding vendors to get ice cream, food, souvenirs, water, etc. Since we took a shuttle, we made sure we caught the last one of the day back to our resort. All in all, it was a beautiful beach day!

Parking is difficult and it's insanely crowded here. This is definitely a tourist trap. One of the men kept telling us to move so he could put more chairs right where we were and told us we were "in his way." It's a public beach and I should be able to lay on my towel where I'm not in anyone's way and not get this treatment. This behavior also extended to others that didn't pay for chairs. The snorkeling isn't even impressive here. We snorkeled nearly every day for over a week at different beaches and this was bottom of the list. Glad we weren't planning on staying long anyways. I literally enjoyed this place soo little, that I forgot to take pictures of it. Drinks were weak, but the fish we got was tasty and fresh.

The left has big rock as and coral all along in the water where you can find octopus, crabs, fish, stingrays. If you are more adapt at snorkeling you can go out towards the left and past the university dock and there is some great snorkeling there with sea cucumbers, giant pufferfish, eagle rays, some have reported lion fish over in that area even. The right of the beach is filled with rocks, coral and sea glass on the sand. I will leave some photos of all the creatures Ive got on my GoPro. Also tons of sea turtles

We felt 100% safe leaving our backpack on the shore while snorkeling and swimming. Saw plenty of fish! There were food trucks as well as a kayak rental option but we did not partake of either.

Its picturesque setting, complete with a charming boutique, mouthwatering food trucks, and a beach bar, creates an amazing atmosphere that's hard to beat. The availability of restrooms and showers ensures your comfort, and the affordable shuttle service makes transportation a breeze. Nestled along the pristine shores of the Caribbean, this idyllic destination offers everything you could dream of, from breathtaking scenery to charming amenities. The moment you arrive at Honeymoon Beach, you'll be captivated by its serene beauty and crystal-clear waters. As you explore, you'll discover a delightful surprise--a cute boutique that adds a touch of island charm. Whether you're searching for beach essentials, fashionable accessories, or unique souvenirs, the boutique offers a curated collection of items to enhance your beach experience. There were some floaties for sale, as well as Caneel Bay clothing merchandise. When it's time to satisfy your appetite, the food truck at Honeymoon Beach is a delightful culinary adventure. Serving up a diverse array of delectable dishes, these mobile eateries offer something for every palate. From fresh seafood to mouthwatering tropical delicacies, you'll find yourself indulging in a tantalizing feast while soaking up the sun and sea breeze. For those seeking a refreshing beverage, the beach bar at Honeymoon Beach is a true oasis. Picture yourself sipping on a signature cocktail or enjoying an ice-cold beer while gazing out at the azure waters. The friendly bartenders are always ready to whip up a tropical concoction that perfectly complements the laid-back atmosphere of the beach. One of the key aspects of Honeymoon Beach is the convenience it provides. Restroom facilities and showers are available, ensuring that you can freshen up after a day of sun and sand. The cleanliness and upkeep of these amenities add to the overall comfort and enjoyment of your visit. One thing to note is that there is no soap allowed in the outdoor showers, as it is only meant for a quick rinse. The bathroom entry had a ramp (seemed handicap accessible) from the outside but didn't go inside. How to Get there: Can hike there for free or access through Caneel Beach Club for $12 mandatory shuttle ride. Getting to Honeymoon Beach is a breeze thanks to the convenient shuttle service out of Caneel Bay Beach Club. For a fee of $12 per person you can get a round trip shuttle ride to the beach from the parking lot. This service eliminates any stress or hassle associated with finding parking near the beach, allowing you to focus solely on making the most of your time in this tropical paradise. The shuttle is mandatory as pedestrians are not allowed to walk down to the beach from caneel bay beach club parking lot. One individual there had asked and employees said it was a "liability from the hurricane debris" preventing people from walking down. The shuttle did NOT seem handicap accessible as it was an open-air taxi cab type vehicle that can only be climbed into. I am not sure of the options for sure but my guess is that individuals may be able to drive their own vehicles down if they cannot get onto the shuttle (Ex. require a wheelchair). Beach lounge chairs or cabanas are available for rent. Most people there brought their own chairs, but there are plenty available for rent. The beach does not allow any umbrellas/tents/stakes in the ground as it is a sea turtle nesting site. Be mindful of this as shade on the beach is limited. There were lots of families there - it is super family friendly.

My whole family was incredibly kind and spent a lot of money. The female owner yelled at us for having a float in the water when we asked prior to putting the float in. They originally said it was ok. Tried to charge other people's food and drinks on our tab. Go enjoy the beach but don't waste your money on the food truck or bar!!
