Luxury Cabin Review!…read more We stayed 2 nights in cabin 23A, June 13-15. We were taking a road trip (from Indiana) and during our research came across Letchworth State Park. We really wanted to spend some time hiking there so we set out to find a place to stay. We searched for AirBnB's and hotels, but couldn't really find what we were looking for, then came across Woodstream. We have active boys and this was prefect for our family. The cabin was even better than the website pictures. It had 2 AC units and they cooled very quickly. Our boys loved the bunkbeds with privacy curtain and built in nooks, lights and outlets. They even had their own windows! That was such a fun space for them. We did do some limited cooking and it was equipped with everything we needed. We stopped for s'more supplies on the way there and realized we didn't pack our sticks. We were pleasantly supplies that the cabin had them! There was storage for our luggage and bags under the beds as well as cubby space. The fire ring was so cute and we all loved lounging in the adorondak chairs around the fire. My boys loved playing in the creek. We were too busy at Letchworth and our own site to try out the golf course and pool, but when we checked in there were many people enjoying both. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

All because a friend of ours was having a batchlorette party in the pavilion that she rented and Kira didn't want us there because she has some sort of weird vendetta against me. So when I had had enough and told her to bring it on we get banned from the campsite. This is bull crap when my aunt has had a permanent site there and we go there all the time for The last 10 years. I think it is horrible business when they let there 19 year old manager get drunk and then harass guests. I would not recommend this place to anyone after how they treated us when we weren't hurting anyone just trying to have a nice girls weekend.

Travelled 3400 miles to go to the great Curveball festival at WGI this weekend. Mother Nature had…read moreother plans for us. All of the water in the sky from the week before must have pooled and dripped from above, contaminating nearby water supplies. That being said, many of the 40,000 who were slated to attend the festival had to figure out how to spend the night(s)... Simple, we said, we have a band of our best friends and should just camp out around here. After some searching around, a friend found Skybrook. They promised that they'd be able to accommodate us and were sympathetic with our situation. Now, it would be putting it lightly to say that we have a sizable crew - we had at about 8 RVs and 10 cars... over 40 of us! We were all in this together so said, let's go! Well, we had been waiting in a parking lot to head to the festival and decided on Skybrook. We got there after dark, around 8 or 9 and the office was still open. They put us in a nice open field where we could all camp together. The locals were very nice and would come by to chat and make sure our stay was enjoyable. People who come here more frequently were riding around on the roads on golf carts. We were wondering if we could rent some golf carts, have a runaway golf cart marathon maybe, but couldn't figure it out - oh well! On Friday night, we were graced by a set from DJ Steve who dropped sick beats in the Rec Hall! Many of the locals were there and we came to this camp town to help them party down! All in all, Skybrook came through for us! The facilities were in good shape, the people were very nice and the campgrounds were quiet and clean. If I had to travel 3400 miles for a cancelled music festival, I would stay here again. Was it for this my life I sought? Maybe so, maybe not.

All we had to bring was food, ice, dinnerware, clothing and toiletries. They also supply a trash bin. Bathroom is very close walk and dish washing station and outdoor shower is also close. The other tent is a nice distance away so its very private. The water falls are so close you hear them all night which was great to sleep. I highly recommend this site. The staff was absolutely lovely every time we interacted. I almost think I might never bother going anywhere else. The downsides: one outdoor chair was broken but we had brought our own. I wish there was a broom in the tent. The bathroom light works by solar and doesn't seem to last long so you need to bring a flashlight. It's a walking campground, which is great but the tent sites are quite a hike away from the pool and store and it's uphill so that can be challenging for some. I will definitely go here again, it was a lovely trip. Well done! They also left a folder in the tent with emergency numbers and local places which was a nice touch.

Stony Brook Park is a must visit when in the Keuka Lake area and looking for an outdoor experience…read more The parking lot fits plenty of cars and there's clean bathrooms onsite. There are 4 different trails you can hike if you feel up to it but we recommend the Gorge Trail & East Rim Trail. This loop can be difficult on the knees with all the steps and unbalanced areas. Absolutely beautiful park and afterwards you can swim in the clear cold water. We had a blast and was a highlight of our trip.

We did the gorge trail; filled with beautiful rocks, wonderful waterfalls small and big & the greenery. Be prepared to take a few stairs. (On the way and back). When we reached the end of the trail we were a little lost as it isn't a complete loop. We took the west elm trail back which was more woodsy than the first one. This is a peaceful place and camping would be lovely here (there's campgrounds.) aside from wild birds, we did encounter a rabid groundhog that was going in circles, so be wary (I mean this is the case for all wildlife parks!) Bonus, the bathrooms are super clean, probably the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed.

We are very happy we ended up here: the campground is perfectly organized and maintained by a very nice family, everything is clean and there are various amenities/services you can use. The cabin where we staid at looked new, as if we were the first ones to stay there. Comfortable, clean...we loved it! The campground is more addressed to RVs as we saw a lot of campers having a great time there. I have to say: we have not spent that much time in the camp itself (and I feel like we should have: there were plenty of activities organized for Labor Day Weekend), as we wanted to hike and do whitewater rafting in Letchworth State Park, but we enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely return if we are in the area.

There's several other lesbian couples and they too have never noted discrimination. The issue noted by a prior review involved inappropriate fondling and tongue kissing in the pool with numerous children around. This behavior isn't appropriate for anyone, no matter what your sexuality is. There's a time and place for this type of adult behavior.

Grimes Glen, Letchworth and Stony Brook State parks are close by for swimming. A camp store, playground for the kids and huge bonfires every Saturday night. There's a hiking trail right on the property as well as several adorable cabins. Full hook up and tent sites available. Lisa and Joey have been a pleasure getting to know. They are SUPER kind and we plan on spending the majority of our camping trips there!

I spent a decent amount of time sitting at The Shawmut Grille on the patio in the sun as I've already broken bones skiing on ice so wasn't trying to do that again. The bartender was wonderful, there was a great selection of beers-heavy on the sours, and the food was good! Prices were similar to regular (off ski resort) restaurants which I thought was great! Very nice open patio with fireplaces and Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy the view of the mountain. I'm looking forward to returning if and when we get any snow!
