I stopped at Sugar Llamas and ordered a dozen mini donuts along with a latte. The donuts are made to order and then covered in toppings (we had 6 with vanilla glaze and sprinkles and 6 with cinnamon, sugar, caramel sauce, and powered sugar). No surprise, the donuts are awesome when they are freshly fried. They were still good a few hours later, but I would recommend eating them quickly for maximum quality. My latte was very tasty, smooth, and full of flavor, which was surprising to me coming from a fancy donut shop like this- normally they aren't that delicious. In addition to a full coffee bar and made to order donuts with a myriad of toppings, they also have ice cream. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The store itself was spotless. Prices were reasonable given the labor involved in the donuts. If you're in the area and in the mood for sweets, Sugar Llamas is worth the stop! read more

The staff members that took our order were patient and kind. Mini donuts were so cute! The drinks are not spectacular, and adjustments to the flavors were not made if you wanted it dairy free (no cream). It almost tasted like pure vanilla extract (alcohol). DO NOT GO BEFORE SCHOOL. 15 minute for 1 hot coco made is late for school. And while waiting in the drive-through parents were literally sending their kids out of the car to walk to the front and side to order, and I literally made it back to the car with their food and drinks before I even made it to the window for my hot cocoa, and when I did make it to the window, they asked me what I had as if they weren't even making it yet. And told me if I don't wanna wait that long. I can go somewhere else like Starbucks. Which I definitely will because even with driving across town will still be faster and make it to school on time. Kudos to the "cuteness factor" and creativity with the llama theme, artwork, etc -- but my visit didn't meet my perceived expectations for my 3yo and I'll explain why: First, think about a traditional (more than likely Asian) donut shop, you know the ones, they have "DONUT" on the front with large red letters. Okay, when you walk in what is the first thing you see? A large glass case full of bright and beautiful donuts! To me this is part of the fun especially for kids because they walk up to the case and look at all the possible delicious things they're about to eat. They get to pick the one with the princess or truck ring or whatever color icing they want. This is part of the experience. This is why I don't want to give 5 stars to Sugar Llama. Their entertainment factor is seriously lacking. There is a case showcasing their ice cream and yes there is a glass pane that allows you to see their mini donuts being made. However, when they make the donuts, they turn around a make them with their back turned to you. Hardly fun to watch. The automatic mini donut machine also needed some TLC because there was a large hair (seriously) running along side it next to the oil and the mechanism that pushes the flaps up and down needed to have its screws tightened. I correlate my experiences with businesses based on experience and price. That creates the value for me. I would suggest Sugar Llama reconsider their presentation to justify their higher prices. Until then I'll go to DONUT down the street, pay half the price for handmade donuts and a glass case experience. read more

Let me start this by saying I have visited twice, both inside and the drive thru. I walked in with my family and didn't feel a warm welcome or greeting. We got noticed when we walked out of the establishment. We also encountered a foul smell so we decided to go through the drive thru. We placed our order and asked questions in which we would assume they would understand. We get our food plus the coffee but the coffee was made wrong. We waited an additional 5 minutes for someone to come back to the window to remake the coffee. Upon waiting, I assume the owner came to the window, and just opened the window without asking may I help or anything, just kinda looked. Once we received the coffee it wasn't what we asked for AGAIN!!! We just pulled away and will not order coffee from here again. Customer service is horrible considering we had just left an establishment with Excellent customer service. The donuts were ok with the exception that one out of four flavors was incorrect. This review is more about the horrible customer service!!! We tossed the coffee once we got home because it was just regular brewed coffee with ice and not what we asked for. read more

Decided to drop by on a Sunday afternoon during a long road trip. Really cute interior that our kids really liked. We got a 16 count of mini donuts with some milk, which allows you to pick up to four different flavors. The donuts were cooked on the spot and were surprisingly light and fluffy. I come today and there were 2 Lovely young women. I asked their names- Micah and Aubrie!! They were charming. My coffee was absolutely awakening of course gotta get the caffeine!
