My son and I have been stopping here about once a month since moving back to Mesquite eight months ago. It has definitely surpassed Krispy Kreme and the various other non-chain donut shops in our area as our go to place for donuts and breakfast. The donuts are good, with a solid variety of crullers, eclairs, frosted and glazed donuts, etc etc. My son, who has become a bit of a conciser of donuts in particular loves their strawberry flavored, bunny shaped donuts as well as their donuts holes. The thing that really makes this place stand out though is their croissant breakfast sandwiches, These are a buttery, fluffy croissant filled with egg, peppery sausage, bacon and cheese and they are absolutely awesome. They also have breakfast burritos and sandwiches but I haven ever tried those because I can't resist getting the croissant every time I go in. You can get one of these breakfast sandwiches and a cup of coffee for a little over $4, which is pretty hard to beat for breakfast in a hurry. read more

LIGHT AND FLUFFY! I pass several other donut shops just to come here. Their donuts are stellar, but they've also got the best customer service! The people running the shop are so nice, and have a positive impact on my mornings. These are my FAVORITE donuts because they're light, fluffy, and even a little flaky. They've got the secret sauce here. I recently went to the donut shop closest to me this past week, and I was disappointed by how dense their donuts were. That was proof to me that Kiss does something special. My favorite donuts are their cinnamon& chocolate twist donuts but I also love their bear claws, regular glazed, and blueberry donuts. Donuts=Donuts. Let's face it. Americans love them. They're quick, easy and you can scarf-down a few while driving. What sets this place apart for me is the genuinely friendly service and early hours. I have to be at work particularly early and luckily, this place gets the open sign turned on while other places are cooling their neon. The staff is always friendly and smiling at "zero-dark-thirty". That helps kick start my day. They also keep several sundries on hand just in case I need something on the way into work. read more

Another donut review. I've got to eat healthier... Kiss Donuts is not what is on the big sign. It's just DONUTS which makes me wonder why the kiss part is even on their business cards. The only great convenience is that the place is located by a gas station and highway 30. Donuts are donuts. The glaze was normal. The croissant kolaches were old and not so great. Usually its a given to warm it up but the lady had to ask me first. She was really nice though. They have a lot of random stuff that they sell too which throws me off. They have fruit and tea you can buy but with the way they slap the prices on or near the products makes me feel like i'm rummaging through a garage sale. read more

Service rocks! I've been going here for years and they know me, they know my kids by name and always throw in a few extra donut holes! Donuts are great! With lots to choose from! Cute designs to entice kiddos! I have a thing for Hello Kitty and they just happen to sell my fav childhood donut with the Hello Kitty ring so I was sold! The kolaches are so good! They have a big variety for those with more of a savory delight. Coffee bar adds an extra spice too! They have a "High-Rev" coffee choice if you really need a jump start to your day! Kiss Donuts in Mesquite are the best in the DFW area. North side of I-30 and Galloway intersection. I love donuts so much I can go almost any where in the DFW area and know where to get a donut. I had 3 shops in the Mesquite area I liked. One quit putting cinnamon in their cinnamon roles, a second one was eh okay and the third, I made a simple request for my wife and offered to pay extra. The lady behind the counter gave me a dirty look with an emphatic NO. That was our last day at that shop. I will not go there again. I tried Kiss donuts and being a cinnamon rolaholic I was hooked. Great tasting cinnamon roles with a little crunch. A big plus was the breakfast sandwiches. Egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese, and so delicious I get them for breakfast and by a second for my lunch. I made the same request for my wife at Kiss donuts and offered to pay extra. They complied with my request with a smile and refused to charge extra. (I put money in the tip jar when I have cash on me.) Great family owns the shop and they're super friendly. I don't drink coffee, but my wife does and she loves Kiss' coffee so that is just another perk. (Yes pun intended.) Just a side note for Max's Donuts in Allen, Tx.; they run second in my book, but not a close second. read more
