When my wife attempted to use it on June 3, the employees said the card was not working and denied her service. She attempted to use it again approximately two weeks later and was denied a second time. She was promised a callback but never received one. On June 17, she called the store again and was promised another callback. No one called. I went to the store personally that same day and was told that ownership had changed and that gift cards purchased before the ownership change were not working or being accepted. I requested a refund. The employees contacted a manager and told me that corporate would handle it, and someone would call me. No one did. On July 16, after receiving no response for nearly one month, I returned to the store. I was told that the manager would call me within two minutes. That call never came either. The business has my $200. The gift card has never been used, and we have received no service, replacement card, store credit, refund, apology, or meaningful response. An ownership change is an internal business matter. A customer should not be left with a worthless $200 gift card and no person willing to take responsibility. I have now submitted a written demand for a full refund and contacted Chase regarding a dispute. I will update this review if the business resolves the matter.

So this was my first spray tan, and I have a lot of mixed feelings on it. I came because of the positive yelp reviews, and the amount of people who said it wouldn't make me look orange. I also saw someone in a review say this covered their farmers tan, which I sadly had because of work. So I went in a bit early, and they were running behind schedule. No big deal. When it came to be my turn, I told the tanning artist there (i think her name was Megan or Melanie or some name that started with an M) that my goal was to be slightly darker than my current tan, and also to make my farmers tan areas match. She told me that the Medium would be good, since any lighter would look streaky (ok?). So I assumed she knew what she was doing, even though she looked half my age. She had me wipe my makeup off (which was just eyeliner and light powder) even though the website said non oil based makeup is ok. I was confused but complied. Most of the actual paint (is that what its called? maybe dye) situated right on my cleavage. She also sprayed my face but missed my ears entirely. I didn't think it'd be an issue, since I was only supposed to be a tiny bit darker. She also assured me that my clothing wouldn't mess up my tan, even though it wound up doing so. The tan on my chest was never even or nice looking at all. That day, i liked the color I was. I used the standard tan, and i enjoyed being slightly darker. But i got darker and darker and by the next morning I was significantly darker than before (way darker than I wanted) and also somewhat orange. Not quite a carrot, but still way more orange than I hoped to be. I was quite upset, and the next day my face had faded completely as well as my hands, but nowhere else. Its been a week now. I'm a patchy, spotted mess. The only thing I liked was how nice my legs looked so dark, but still not a fan of the orange. It was really odd how she made me so much darker than i asked. And my cleavage was about ten times darker than that too... super awkward. Because I got the new client special, I have one free tan. Debating even using it. I'm very disappointed. read more

I am so upset and angry at this business, I have been a client for the past two years. I live right up the street, literally 2 minutes away and I was walking out my door to my car at 1 minute after my appointment time. And I got a call from them saying I was too late my appointment. I told them I was 2 minutes away and they kept me on the phone for 6 minutes saying I was late, they were so booked up and then didn't think they could take me. Now by this time I am 7 minutes late because I haven't gotten in the car because I am talking to them and they finally tell me they couldn't take me, period! I could have been there 3-4 minutes before they even told me this. I had booked this ahead of time as it was super important for a competition I am doing the next day which I explained to them. I called them back a number of times 10-15 minutes later to express how upset I was and there was NO answer, which leads me to believe they just wanted to go home. I hope the owner or manager looks at who was working on July 6th and realizes their employees lost a client for what would have been 3-4 minutes late for an appointment. read more

I've been coming here a little over a year now for the Brazilian sugaring and I've had the most positive experience. Everyone is so friendly, the store is immaculately clean, and the place just smells nice. I was extremely skittish at first, especially after my allergic reaction to wax, but the girls here really made an effort to make me feel comfortable, changing out the sugar when need be and using gentle techniques. The traffic is low, you don't feel rushed, and there's a comforting sense of privacy/intimacy that you don't get at busier, more popular businesses. The estheticians are especially tuned to your individual psychology, always knowing how to distract you, how to ensure a calm environment. Now I keep up regular visits, even enjoying the experience as something therapeutic. Regardless of hair type, you're in and out in 15 minutes tops, even less. I would throw in a name, but honestly they are ALL fabulous, hard-working estheticians, and I am very happy with the service. read more

I think sugaring will have to be my new thing. I stopped by after work last Friday. I saw that the free promotion for armpits were available so I took the offer up. Now, I hated shaving because the hair grew up. I can't stand waxing because of the burns and partial skin removal. So when I saw that sugaring was available, I knew I wanted to experience it as well. Well when I got there, I was greeted and told to go into room two. Sugaring was not a painful experience but there was a lot of pressure. It actually didn't feel bad, but they go over the same spot twice, so I can see how for some it can feel a bit painful. Sugar paste is made with sugar, water and lemon juice. Not much is needed but it gets the job done. Olga did an awesome job. So today, which is Wednesday, my armpits have no hair on them and the hair has yet to grow back. I'm surprised and I made an appointment for a Brazilian for next week. I think this is my new hair removal regimen from now on!! read more

I got sprayed for a trip and my tan came out Extremely yellow orange and uneven. I got spray tanned before and loved it. I'm very disappointed. Everyone noticed and made fun of me for looking orange. And I look horrible in pictures. The girl told me it doesn't smell and it didn't at first but I smelled bad all day the second day. I asked what solution they used and they just said they "made their own". I just kind of feel mislead. I got a free tan but probably won't use it. read more

Not happy. There's never the same person working. Place has been declining. I tell the girl how I like it done and they never listen. Tans are never consistent. I got offered a free tan but not even interested. Over it. Waste of time and Money! Never do these online reviews but seems to me the reviews on here aren't even real, not with the Experiance I've had. There's only been one time I can say I really liked it but I don't know. This is not something I thought I'd be doing! I was never into the whole tanning thing, but when I had a friend recommend Bronzed Airbrush Tanning I went to the website to check it out. I didn't realize you could have just certain parts of the body done! I am tan on my upper body but my legs were pretty white. I was able to just get them done and it worked out great. Now that I know how easy it is, I'll try the whole body next time. read more

The esthetician explained the process and asked me questions about my skin, and if I get claustrophobic, which I do. Because of that, she switched up what she was going to do. Apparently one of the treatments is a jelly-like mask that covers your whole face and some people experience anxiety as a result. So, she did something else. I felt glowy and relaxed when I left. They do try to upsell every client, which I'm not a fan of, but they were not super pushy about it. I would go back again.
