She educated me about types of products that would be good for my specific hair and how I could incorporate them into my routine, but she didn't try to make me buy anything. Her studio: I had to call to figure out exactly where it was (it is inside a larger salon building), but once inside it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I also love that you can book entirely online, which is surprisingly rare for hair studios. On a side note: I'd urge Yelp to only allow verified customers to review businesses. I read a one star review prior to booking my appointment, but it was a person who never visited Elizabeth's studio, just someone who disagreed with her marketing practices. This isn't why people come to Yelp and these types of reviews can distort the valuable data Yelp provides. They did not text me a confirmation when they opened. And, hear me out, i can take accountability, I should've checked my email and whatnot, so that's my bad and i'm sorry. BUT, they sent me a text at 12:30 p.m. and said i had NC, NS my 2:30!! p.m. appointment. So, i just figured it was cancelled and didn't go. THEN, at 2:30!! it said i missed ANOTHER appointment. I called, front lady was very nice, trying to get it cleared up. I had obviously made a mistake booking the same service two times for the same day, and i've never caused problems in the YEARS i've been going.
