I was asked about tretinoin use and told I was fine after stopping for over two weeks, but then reassigned to another provider. The treatment was extremely painful--far beyond what was described--and I could feel the needles going very deep into my skin. I was told I'd be fine after 20 minutes, but that wasn't the case. My appointment was on March 7, and as of April 23, my skin is still about three shades darker than before. This has seriously affected my confidence, and I now feel like I have to wear foundation daily. I would not recommend this spa, especially for those with darker skin tones seeking microneedling.
