I had the Meditative mood soak with the Shirodhara and relaxing foot retreat added on. The moment I walked in I already started feeling relaxed! I was escorted to the changing room and given an oh so fluffy robe and slippers (wasn't a big fan of those honestly, but I'll let that slide...) from there off to the relaxation room to wait for my therapist Julie. I'm just gonna skip to the good part now.... I really wanted to be a massive fan of the mood soak... Cause I LOVE to soak in the tub, but to me the water was just shy of being tepid and I like mine just short of being able to boil a lobster. Now the Shirodhara... OH MY!!!! Huge fan! Honestly wasn't too sure how I would feel about it, but it was the absolute most relaxing thing EVER and I am a hard person to get to relax. Julie my was beyond amazing! Very professional yet personable and you can tell she loves what she does. I will absolutely be going back for the Shirodhara treatment. She also did the Body Balance massage that came with the mood soak (I loved the fact that I could continue with the same therapist that in itself added about 20 extra in my book!) it was heaven! The best part was we never changed rooms and it was so quiet. So if you're considering a spa day for yourself or a loved one who really needs some pampering, they will surely take care of you!

The quiet room was nice, I got champagne while I waited. My tech came right on time and had I thought about it, I would have arrived a little earlier to relax more. The pedicure was nice but quick, an hour, which is standard but the price was $101 before any tips. Just for the pedicure. No other services. Nice spa but too expensive for my tastes. A full day or multiple services would cost over $200. They also had a full selection of skin care items, hats and jewelry.

I was lying down in the electric bed and we were discussing what machines, facial, massages, treatments I like. That day, I was there for an IPL photofacial, the not-so-secret, secret to porcelain almost spot free (but getting there) skin. Did you get that? Try saying it faster. LOL We agreed on our philosophy. Yes we've both tried ayurvedic methods before and she said, "yes, you can pay me money. I can rub you for an hour and it will feel nice. But I want for you, results." (Did your mind go to a dirty place? I had to hold my giggles in when she said this.) But hallelujah. Yes sistah, we want results!! While we were calibrating the laser for treatment. She said, "on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being nothing, 10 is hurting. We need to be at an 8. We'll stop if you need to catch your breath but 8 is what we need." I thought i was working at an 8 but i think i can handle more next time. She almost seemed disappointed that I couldn't handle more.
