I purchased a dress shirt from them about a year ago, and I have worn it no more than three times since then. Recently, I attended a nice event and noticed that the cuff hem was coming apart. Given that this is not a cheap store, I expected higher quality and better service. When I approached them for assistance, they refused to assist me and then suggested I buy a new shirt if I wanted to. They didn't even think about how I could be a returning patron and could purchase more in the future. You can see from the picture that this is a quality issue. I expect a much higher level of quality and service when shopping at a store like this. When I initially bought my suit from them, after tailoring, it took me three return visits to have it fit correctly. If I were you, I would seriously be worried when shopping at this store. I had an off-the-rack tuxedo ordered from this location 3 weeks prior to my event. The tuxedo arrived, I had final fittings, and it was sent for alterations. Somehow, when I came to pick up my tailored tuxedo a few days before my event, this location had lost the tuxedo. While the individuals I worked with were apologetic, this is a complete avoidable mistake, and no amends were given other than offering to sell me a black suit and giving me a refund. If you have an important event or are in a rush, I would not recommend this location. read more

Web site indicates that appointment was not needed. So I showed up without an appointment and was put on a wait list. Waited 45 minutes and still no sales person. Finally asked a sales person who then showed me a few suits. When I asked for a specific suit in what I thought is my size, sales person brought up the wrong suit. We went to get my dad a suit and the whole store smelled like body odor. Gross! Never going back.

The service is absolutely terrible!! They do all of their tailoring and storage 20 minutes away and so even if you have an appointment you have to wait 20-30 minutes to pick up your alterations. They were supposed to steam some altered shirts and they did a piss poor job of it. When I asked to have them steamed properly, the completely disinterested sales person told me it was just from the way they were hanging after the steaming. EXCEPT that the folds from the initial box were still blatantly visible. When I told him that, he told me that their "emergency" fix guy was on break and I would have to wait 20-40 minutes. This is unacceptable, especially when you are paying these prices! These guys act like you should be paying them just for the experience of coming into their store. They are supercilious and are devoid of the real skill of authentic service and support. Shame! read more

I bought a suit a couple years back from a Manhattan location, so I figured I would try this location since I live in Westchester now. This location is very eclectic since it's not a typical storefront. It's in an eclectic Victorian style house away from the main Greenwich shopping area. There's a parking lot right next to it which is convenient. Ann-Caroline (AC) was so nice and helpful with assisting me with finding a versatile dark grey suit. She's very attentive and included my partner in the conversation. I tried on several different colors and styles and ended up going with the dark grey Lazio suit jacket and dark grey brescia suit trousers. I would definitely come back here. Accompanied my brother out here as he was looking for a suit to wear for upcoming interviews in Manhattan. They have a parking lot next to their store which is convenient. The exterior of the place was beautifully maintained as was the interior space. The interior was pleasantly bright and organized. Everything on display and we were greeted and helped immediately by Joseph. My brother luckily was not in need of a custom suit, and was able to find one that fit well off the rack. Some alterations were needed to be made to the pants and we were told to come back in about half an hour to pick it up, try it on and pay. We were recommended to check out a coffee shop nearby to kill some time. When we came back we were looking for ties to match with his dress shirt and suit color, and another staff member helped us pick a few colors out from their wall of ties. Joseph and other staff members were kind and helpful and made this first time experience a pleasant one! It's been several months since our visit/ purchase and my brother has worn the suit a handful of times, with no issues in the craftsmanship to speak of thus far. After each wear my brother sends it to be dry cleaned as his interviews last several hours along with the time it takes him to commute. Suit continues to hold up well during use and cleanings. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you're in the market for a good quality suit. My brother intends to come back and purchase a second suit sometime later this year. read more

If you need a suit to arrive on time, and be the right suit that you ordered, don't do business with Suit Supply in Greenwich. After going in for measurements, I paid for a navy blue suit that they did not have in store, but they assured me they could send it to my address in time for an important event that I had. After waiting almost a week, I called the store and they told me that the suit was sitting in the store and was never sent out. When I finally got my suit a day before my event they had sent me the right suit, but the wrong color. After telling them I was going to wear the suit and that I was going to send it back after my event, they told me they were sending the correct suit right away. I waited another week before calling again, and they once again had the suit sitting in their store. After all this trouble they gave me a measly $13 off of my alterations that I needed. After waiting another week to receive the right suit I got one in the mail with the correct pant alterations, but was about 10x too big. Right color this time, wrong size. UPDATE: Suit Supply refuses to send me the right suit without sending the first two suits back. They claim they need them to measure the alterations, but this is inconsistent with the fact that the second suit I received had the correct alterations on the pants. Since Suit Supply is unwilling to send me the suit I ordered and paid for I'll be keeping the wrong suits they sent me and will be buying suits from somewhere else. Derek and I looked at multiple fabrics and colors and helped me feel confident in my choice. I must have went to SuitSupply a dozen times within the 4 months leading up to wedding day and Derek was there to help me every time. I had my entire wedding party and the fathers get suits. Update to my original review. After complaining to the store about the seam of my trousers opening up they fixed it and the manager, Brian offered to make it right by comping a new pair of trousers or a shirt. I picked the shirt. When selecting the free shirt I decided to give them another try as the clothing is well designed. This was a mistake. I bought a sport coat that was supposed to be shipped to me before I left for vacation. It didn't arrive in time. I'm wearing it for the first time today to find that they neglected to remove the stitching from the pockets. So to summarize, poor quality on 1st purchase, product didn't arrive when promised on 2nd purchase and pockets weren't opened as well. That's 3 strikes in my book. read more

I called 2 times prior to the ready by date and each time I was reassured they would be ready on time. The supposed ready by date arrived and when I called to confirm if I'm good to pick them up (since I haven't gotten a text yet), I was left on hold for 1 hour and no one returned my call afterwards. I called the stores multiple times after hanging up and no one even bothered to pick up. Finally, when I got a hold of a manager my concerns were completely dismissed. I went in here with my 18 year old son. They informed us that we needed to make an appointment to shop. They told us that we could come back IN TWO WEEKS.....I said o.k.-though, this is actually odd- You can not shop here without an appointment. Then when I went to make the appointment-he said, "Actually, you can't make your appointment until 2 weeks from now." He said that a couple of employees quit and that they were "Short Staffed". The fact that I couldn't even book an appointment and had to wait 2 weeks to even book an appointment was ludicrous. I had heard Suitsupply made the best bang for your buck suits so I decided to try them out. Bought a navy suit for interviews and wore it once to New York. The quality of the fabric was great but there were some craftsmanship issues. After the first wear the crotch seam became to come undone, inside liner on the sleeve was becoming unstitched, and the pant button was hanging by a single thread. No huge problem just many minor issues. I brought the suit back to this location to have it fixed for an upcoming internship in New York. I did not know I had to dry clean it beforehand but I think they took care of that which was very nice of them. I picked up the suit, and moved to New York for the internship. Today I come to find that my suit only had the crotch seam fixed, even after a tailor there called me on the phone to help locate on which sleeve the liner was coming undone and confirmed he saw it on the phone. This lack of attention to detail is very upsetting when I had wasted a total of 3 hours driving between Trumbull and Greenwich. I should've inspected the suit when I went to pick it up but the employee said they reinforced all the seems and all the buttons on the suit and I trusted her , however, it was certainly a lie given one of the buttons is still hanging by that same single thread. In summary, brought a suit in with three minor issues from Trumbull (45 min drive one way) Waited a week Picked suit up and only one of the three issues was fixed Total time wasted: approximately 4 hours read more

I had a horrible 2+ month experience here while trying to get my suit for a wedding party. I can't even count the amount of negative things I experienced here. And to top it off, after finally actually getting my suit, at the wedding I found 3 ball pins sewed into the bottom of my jacket. Second visit, 09/23/2017: This was a wonderful counterpoint to my previous visit to the same location. I was greeted immediately by the store manager, Jared, with suit-in-hand. While it was not necessary for him to handle my visit, I did certainly appreciate his personal care. I felt that both my time and business were valued. Two salespersons and Jared were jovial, knowledgeable, and attentive. This was truly a jarring experience, in the best possible way, relative to what I was prepared for, and I'm thankful to those that assisted me throughout this second visit. The necessary alterations were completed within twenty hours of my visit, and the communication from measurement to delivery was impeccable. Suitsupply is a wonderful company and they make the online ordering process straightforward and simple. I had heard of Suit Supply from a friend after I asked for alternatives to Brooks Brothers... Anyway, I was excited to go get measured and get a made-to-measure ensemble. I was under the impression everything they did was made-to-measure since my friend had a made-to-measure outfit from there. When I arrived at the store, I was surprised that it was all mostly off the rack, and I asked the person helping me if they could measure me, because I disagreed with his eye-balling method (since his measurements were off by 2 inches from every other retailer I have ever been to). He said they don't do measurements because they sell everything off the rack, even though I saw him measure someone else's neck in front of me (he was helping another customer as well as me). He then told me if I wanted to be measured I can go to the top floor but that would be really expensive, starting in the thousands. He stopped the conversation and didn't offer to take me up, which I thought was really interesting since that was what I had originally expected when I arrived at the store. I also got the sense he thought I couldn't really afford to be there, and given the other comments on Yelp, it seems it is a common theme at the SoHo location. I told him I AM interested and he told me it would not be ready for an event I had in 3 weeks so that it wasn't worth it. I felt he was very dismissive rather being accommodating. I did wind up getting something, because it was a lot cheaper than I expected, since it was off the rack. But I did find their service really snooty. read more

needed a suit for my wedding and decided to try suit supply as some friends used it and seemed to enjoy the experience. i recommended suit supply to my dad and fiances dad, which i now feel horrible about. youd think when measurements are taken and you get a custom suit that it would would somewhat fit once it arrives to the store. for my suit, i was not even able to button the pants, and the sleeves on my jacket were not the same length. i left it with them to fix the sleeves and even after they "fixed" it the sleeves were still not the same length. at that point i just decided to take it home and have my mom fix it as shes a seamstress. my dad got a custom suit and when his arrived, you guessed it, the sleeves were not the same length and he was not even able to button his jacket. they also only did half the custom liner in the jacket when he requested a full custom liner, and they didnt add his name to under the neck as he requested. thankfully his pants fit at least. it took 3 separate trips for them to fix his jacket appropriately. my fiances dad went to go pick his suit up, and you guessed it again! the sleeves on his jacket were not the same length and his buttons do not match up. hes also now had to make multiple trips to get his suit adjusted appropriately. when you pay $1k+ for a suit you would expect them to get the details right and for it to be close to fitting once it arrives in store. if i could give 0 stars honestly i would but i would not recommend suit supply to anyone. never once did they offer any sort of remedy given issues persisted across multiple customers and they knew we were all together. quality of the fabric is solid but thats about it. take your money elsewhere, even off the rack at macys... read more

Today I went in looking to buy my first suit ever AND use it to go to my prom night, so the suit HAD to be THE perfect suit. After asking me a few questions about any specific characteristics and/or details I wanted in the suit he took my measurements and proceeded to show me suits that not only matched those demands but also looked beautiful and weirdly enough I thought they matched my personality. I wanted to bring my son in to get a suit for his upcoming summer wedding. I made an appointment for this past weekend over two weeks, received the confirmation email so we were all set. My son lives over an hour and a half away. I get a text an hour before his appointment saying due to a "technical glitch" they over booked and his appointment is canceled. No phone call, just a text telling me to wait 24 hours and reschedule the appointment. (I am a scheduler in the medical field, I know in an instant if an appointment time is being overbooked, not the hour before someone is due to come in.) Seeing my son was half way there, we went anyway to check out the suits. Not much was said to us when we got there, but we had the option of waiting around for three hours to be seen by a sale associate. That was not going to happen, they wasted enough of our time. Not bad for the suburbs, I have seen worse. However, I prefer the NYC locations which have a much more professional, serious tone and unpretentious vibe. Dude was running up the stairs with my suit and fell down and said watch the stairs. No, how about you stop acting like a hotshot and act serious. Your not impressing me at all by trying to act the part. Maybe I am too sensitive but Manhattan is the business capital of North America and the Greenwich location is a bit annoying and not on the same level in my opinion.
