The rental car pickup and drop-off is just outside of the airport building - no shuttle bus needed... just walk towards the rental car area. TSA was easy to get through. I have TSA Pre-Check with Touchless ID. It was nice to have the separate line for Touchless ID but there was only 1 TSA agent working the Pre-Check and Pre-Check with Touchless ID so it really didn't matter that I had that option. I really liked how their TSA bins had a machine to sort and organize them - very "high tech" as other airports don't have that feature. They have some typical food options you'd find at other airports here, such as Starbucks, McDonald's, Chick Fil-A, etc. The United Airline counter agents were friendly folks. I had no issues here. There are SmarteCarte available for $6.00 if you need it. Picking up checked baggage from Baggage Claim was a breeze. Overall, I was really happy with this airport. It wasn't too crowded and they had decent seats options in the main area between concourse A and B. I especially liked the open air feel with the natural lighting. It just made the space more airy and open.

There is a long line and one lane for uber drivers to park along with the tiniest sidewalk for riders to walk on to get to their uber parked somewhere on that long line of cars with luggage and all.

This review is in regards to the security only…read more This airport is clearly way too slow because the security here is psychotic. Oh I see metal on the scanner by the crotch area exactly where a zipper should be that looks exactly like a zipper. We have to make sure and pat them down! We've fly through lax, jfk, Lhr, ord, dfw, etc. regularly. Never an issue. Never once have we flown through EVV without an issue-- always a bag open, always a pat down, always something and never once have they found anything. This goes well beyond someone just "doing their job".

I really appreciate how they've upgraded their vehicles from the older shuttle buses with rough suspension to the newer, mini-limo-style vans. The difference in comfort is huge. Rides feel smoother, quieter, and far more pleasant overall. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because it should be easier to reach customer service after business hours. If someone's stranded late at night or needs last-minute help, it can be stressful not having a clear way to contact anyone. Called company and it just goes to voicemail. We attempted to get a refund the next day and their website just gave errors. When we spoke with Kim, who stated she was a manager, she refused to offer a refund and stated that if we disputed the charge, they would ban us for life. That will not be a problem because we would never use them again anyway.

This is a small private airport for single or double engine propeller planes. They also store,…read morewash, refuel, and can maintain your place here. They have flight instructors who can work with you on your schedule, at reasonable prices to help you get your private pilot's license. You can also rent a plane by the hour if needed. There is a pilots lounge inside, a nice reception area, and sitting area. The staff are always nice and helpful. I have landed and taken off from this airport many times in the past. They are currently expanding and have many new large hangers built to increase their storage facilities. It's a nice private, way back at the end of the road location. They also have loaner cars you can use if you fly in for a quick fuel stop and need to get a bite to eat, then be back on your way. This is a very nice small airport for the Greenwood area. I highly recommend them.
