It turned out my AC unit needed a new compressor and more freon because it wasn't cooling enough and too much ice was building up on the coils in my home thus causing a leak when the ice melted. Andrew also saw that the drain tube coming from the unit inside was clogged. He cleaned the tube and got everything working properly again. He also recommended using less restrictive filters for my system, stating that the higher quality ones are too restrictive and don't allow for efficient air flow thus making the unit work too hard. All of his recommendations are paying off since my system is no longer leaking and is working much better than before. I'm grateful for his knowledge and expertise. He's honest and has fair pricing. First we started with asking Yelp for help to find roofing contractors for a residential roof…read morerepair. We had moss growing on part of our roof where the sun did not shine most of the year. The moss was forcing some of our shingles to buckle. We also inherited two large areas that were 'repaired' at some point in the past, and those repairs were near failure. Fast forward a bit and we received four estimates for a roof replacement/ updated roof system from different contractors. UV Exteriors' estimate was the most competitively priced by far. We decided to have both the roof on our house and our garage replaced. Overall the sales process was very informative and helpful to us making a decision on our roof; we liked the salespeople from UV Exteriors. The shingles that we had on our roof were apparently called 3-tab shingles and all of the estimating companies stated that they either don't install them or manufacturers no longer make them. So we opted for an upgraded shingle with relief. Our new shingles have copper imbedded in them which prevents the growth of moss. The shingles also have a 50-year warranty, which is a big plus. The UV Exteriors crew arrived sometime before 8am, and they got to work right away. A complete tear-off, and a new installation took a single day by the crew. The crew was kind! Most importantly the installation was wonderfully done AND the mess that a roof tear-off creates was completely managed by the crew. We have not found a single errant shingle, nail, piece of plastic or other debris in our yard or our neighbor's yard. The roofing crew did an amazing job! We appreciate the great job that UV Exteriors did by installing our new roof system, and we highly recommend this roofing company to you!

I told her to save her company a trip that I would send pics of the spring assemblies so someone could potentially come prepared to fix on the quote trip. The quote person showed up between the 2 hours they were scheduled for. The person did not have the pics that I sent to Louise. They talked about replacing existing hardware with another window manufacturer. The quote guy, Steve, said their service people are in Rockford area 2-3 times per week. While I waited 2 days for the quote I googled replacing the spring hardware. Parts are available at Lowes and Home Depot for less than $50. The quote I got from this unprofessional small business was for $900. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO PROVIDE SERVICE ON YOUR WINDOWS
