Scammer of Trusting kid - AVOID…read more Today, my wife and I were a couple doors down getting pizza, and my son who had a good experience with a new hire the day before, had unfortunate experience with regular staff. She showed him cards in dim light and changed the price up from marked price and when he was in daylight two doors down he saw he'd been scammed with a damaged card that was not priced based on actual condition or price on that was on it. I walked back to shop with my son and she said no exchange, no refunds, she can change the price and sell known damaged cards and 11 yr old needs to learn his lesson to not be so trusting! I was shocked! I told her that this terrible customer service would cost her way more than the cost of that card profit with a bad review. She did not care at all. - "NO REFUNDS'" Take your kids elsewhere, when in town, unfortunately.

This is a small store in a small town, and it's not sexy, but it's cool. If you are there when the owner is in, you may smell some lingering cigarette smoke, so if you're super sensitive, be warned. But he has dozens and dozens of grandfather clocks, mantle clocks, wall clocks, and even cuckoo clocks. Years ago, about 23 years ago, my parents had offered my husband and I a cuckoo clock as a gift for our first wedding anniversary. 20-something me laughed at the idea and told them thanks, but no thanks, but now 23 years later I'm thinking it might be fun to have a cuckoo clock, and now we do. I realize this isn't a store for everyone, but even if you are a 20-something who relies on their cell phone for all things time-related, one day you'll appreciate a working clock in your home, and maybe Northside Clocks will still be ticking. Our cuckoo purchase included very clear instructions and a three year warranty, so you never know... we might be back for a grandfather clock one day!
