This shop is not too far from the Jack Daniel's Distillery. They have everything you can possibly imagine here from shot glasses, t-shirts, BBQ sauces/Rubs & so much more they even have a whole section where they make lots of neat things from their barrels and wood creations for the home and outside areas. Don't forget to check out the upstairs they have a cool section there you can take pictures and just other fun stuff they have up there. The store is huge and they have something for everyone from key chain to yummy infused chocolates. They were very nice and helpful as well. We loved a shirt but they didn't have our size but they checked their inventory for us so appreciated that. Def come check them out it's a really neat store! read more

A great late 1800's style General Store design and architecture. Everywhere you look is the JD brand on just about anything you can thing of putting it on. Lots and lots of wood from barrel staves, to barrel tops, to the barrels themselves, all for sale with the JD logo. Employees were friendly and provided lots of good suggestions. A definite place to stop if you are ever in Lynchburg. read more

Within walking distances of the distillery, as long as you don't have some kind of health impediment. You can also just park in the town square if there isn't a large traffic flow. This is an adorable little store with every little branded Jack Daniels item that you can hope for... repurposed barrels made into furniture, clothing, hats, holiday decorations, bar mats, tap pulls, really just everything that you think of that you want to have the JD logo on... and not just regular JD, but any of the flavors, too. The problem is that everything is way over priced. Like, I get that you might want to pick up some swag while in Lynchburg, but at the same time, how much of a JD fan that you want to buy things at four times (or more) the cost because it says Jack Daniels? I'm a huge JD fan, but even I had a hard time finding something that was worth the price. read more

Lynchburg Hardware & General Store is basically the Jack Daniels Distillery gift shop. You can find all your JD swag and gifts here. Located in a small outdoor plaza round a bout. Parking is on the streets. Service is friendly. They have a ton of different JD stuff, shirts, souvenirs, food stuff. and other random thing. No liquor sold here. Shirts are around $20 for men and women. Same prices you find everywhere else in Nashville, at least you know this is legit. The Lynchburg Hardware & General Store is THE official store for all Jack Daniel's merchandise. In an interesting arrangement, there isn't actually any JD merch or swag available at the Jack Daniel's Distillery (though you can get some commemorative Jack Daniel's bottles there). You have to come here for that stuff. From the distillery, after taking the tasting tour, it was only a short walk to Lynchburg's town square where this store is located. Once inside, I found an emporium of all things Jack Daniel's. It's a big store, with 2 floors, filled with every imaginable Jack Daniel's-emblazoned item. After perusing a while, I got a JD work shirt. Bonus: bring in your tour ticket & get a free JD shot glass with purchase. Just remember, when visiting the Jack Daniel's Distillery, you have to go to Lynchburg Hardware & General Store to get your souvenir or memento. For me, the work shirt I got here was really working. Be sure to learn the history of this spot, so you can know the significance of why this is such a special building. I wish I had more than 5 minutes to shop... even though the ladies in the store was not pushing us away. I just had enough common courtesy to wrap-up my family's shopping experience. Here we bought a mug (with my husband's name on it), cake and coffee packs. The store was pretty large, so either pay them a visit after your Jack Daniel's tour or even before. It's walking distance from the distillery. I definitely would love to go back to spend a little more time enjoying the goodies in the store. There were a lot of neat Jack Daniel's memorabilia and gifts here. The store at the distillery only sells the liquor, so come here for more of your shopping needs. This is the souvenir shop for the Jack Daniel's Distillery. It's extremely over priced though, and the employees are less than friendly. I was really surprised that the employees were so unwelcoming; since just down the street at the distillery they're VERY friendly and go out of their way to help you. When I went to check out, I felt like I was putting them out to stop what they were doing to ring me up. The lady said nothing more to me than how much my total was of what I was purchasing. Even if you don't plan on spending any money, walking through can be entertaining as they have some really neat memorabilia. There are several other stores on the square with Jack Daniel's memorabilia with far more friendly employees. read more

This is basically the Jack Daniel's souvenir shop. It's a neat shop and the barrel shop attached to it is super cool too. We had our tickets from our tour so we were able to get commemorative shot glasses and we also got our pressed pennies here. However... the people working here were incredibly unfriendly and the prices were outrageous (I'm looking at you, $9 shot glass). We were hoping to get small gifts for everyone in our family, but even the smallest things were $10, so we just bought a few small souvenirs for ourselves and saved the rest of our gift money for Nashville. Long before we had big box stores like Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Target general stores served as the cornerstone of many communities. The local general store was a great place to pick up a flap for your toilet, weather stripping for your doors and windows, a piece of glass, a brass key, grass seed or khakis, you could find odds and ends for the house, groceries, hardware and, usually, the latest gossip all under one roof. But like most things this general store has evolved or morphed into a non- recognizable business venue that reassembles something from the past but filled with practically ever type of branded souvenirs Jack's relatives could dream up. I guess the word general can practically be used for basically anything generally speaking so it was no surprise to me, but somewhat disappointing. Driving to Lynchburg without checking Yelp I was hoping such a historic town may have some businesses that weren't totally consumed by the tourist trade and maybe this general store would be one of those but that wasn't the case. Founded in 1912 and located on the town square, this shop long go abandoned its usefulness unless you need a T-shirt, a jacket, a mug, or a used barrel amongst other similar featured novelties or i.e. memorabilia /collectibles. I guess there are little reminders left of simpler times that offer a place to gather, talk, visit and support our local communities and more of these corporate made for profit tourist traps, yes I too admittedly got caught up in the moment, I smashed a penny before walking out... read more

The Jack Daniels Distillery does not have a gift shop attached but it does have the Lynchburg Hardware & General Store. The store is a 2 minute drive or 6-ish minute walk from the distillery. It's a nice little walk back a ways from the street with a special pathway going to the town square. You can pick up many JD themed items like mugs, clothing, magnets, etc. They even have 6 packs of Jack Daniels coolers...Home Punch, Lemonade and Watermelon for $8.99. I picked up a sixer for a friend back home. The people working in the shop weren't overly helpful as they were talking to each other most of the time, however they were friendly when I went to check out. If you want some Jack Daniels merchandise, this is their main shop. read more

This was a great little shop to pick up all the Jack Daniels merchandise your heart desires (besides the booze itself.) Our tour guide had on a cute Jack Daniels honey hat and I wanted to copy her and get the same one. The prices on shirts and glasses were reasonable and in line with most other tourist destinations. I found some of the polos and jackets to be exorbitant but they did have some on clearance upstairs. I got my husband a shirt and a shot glass with his name on it and also got myself the JD Honey hat I wanted. If you go on the tour, make sure to get your souvenir shot glass with a $10 purchase. The employees were all really nice here, as they were on the JD Tour as well. The shop and tour are worth a stop if you're going to be in the area. Make sure to also walk a few store fronts down to check out the used barrel selection. They had one made into a dog bed that I really wanted to get my dog, but wasn't quite sure how much it would cost to ship home. read more

This is a very large store dedicated to all things Jack Daniels. It is a very neat store and a must see to complete your Jack Daniels/Lynchburg visit. We arrived in Lynchburg in the early afternoon and our sampling tour began at 3:30 and ended around 4:15pm. The distillery staff informed us that we should visit the hardware store. The hardware store typically closed at 5pm but this week began staying open until 6pm. We could also take our tour tickets to the store for a free shot glass. We arrived at the store about 4:45pm. The store was clean and had lots of neat stuff. The service was not there and borderline rude. No one greeted us or offered assistance. Upon check out, the cashier made us feel as if we were a complete inconvenience to her. She threw one shot glass in a bag and acted unhappy that she had to actually ring our other items up. She never smiled, greeted, it thanked us. It was a clear message that the new closing time was not acceptable to her. read more

The service in this place was horrible. My wife and I just had an amazing experience at the distillery down the road and the service here soured that great experience. The cashier seemed almost offended when we patiently waited in line to ask if there were any more sizes in a particular shirt for my wife. She didn't even let me finish my sentence before she interrupted me and said rudely, "That's all we got. That shit is being discontinued." This is an old store front that am has been there for as long or longer than then Jack Daniel's distillery itself. They sell everything from clothing items, key chains, hats, coasters, cookbooks, outdoor grilling equipment, barrels, things made from barrels, and more. Everything is pretty reasonably priced. I left with a t-shirt and it was $19.50, and because I used by coupon from the tour and spent $10 I got a free shot glass. The employees are very friendly. There is even a dressing room, so you can try on the clothing items. It is three rooms downstairs, and then there is an upstairs to the store as well. This is located in a little village square down the road from the distillery (which I highly recommend taking the tour of). They sell anything and everything you can think of related to Jack Daniels. Shot glasses, mugs, cups, grills, guitars, magnets, clothing, hats, billiard equipment, coolers, bbq grills.....the list goes on and on. Oh yea, they also sell different products made from the barrels that they age their whisky in, including dog houses, dog beds, coffee tables, wine racks, bars, patio furniture, etc. If you do the distillery tour, they give you a coupon that gives you a free shot glass when you spend $10 at this store. If you are ever in the Lynchburg, TN area you MUST visit the Jack Daniels Hardware and General Store. The customer service was excellent and the items they have for sale, though slightly pricey, are so cute! As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a friendly employee named Lauren who asked me if I needed any help finding anything. The store has a vast selection of Jack Daniel memorabilia and trinkets. I just loved the Christmas ornaments! I ended up only leaving with a t-shirt even though I wanted so much more. At checkout I asked the same employee who greeted me at the door if there was anywhere she recommended to eat for lunch and she recommended the Barrel House.
