The amount of time I spent on the phone following up after not getting responses was much more than it should have been. Fast forward to three months later and I get a bill in the mail saying I hadn't paid my state's income tax. Now I have to pay that along with three month's of interest, all because there was a miscommunication. They are definitely some of the most expensive tax professionals on the market being 3-5x more expensive than my prior accountants, but considering poor/nonexistent communication and not responding to my emails and calls is what cost me $8k+ in tax penalties, for me it is worth the premium price (although, I have yet to get first bill from them, so we'll see haha).
