She is very thorough in her care of the patient and works on solving the problem rather than "band aiding" it. I have several debilitating issues which Dr Gribbin addressed in the past and present. I trust her knowledge and expertise in her beloved field of Comprehensive and Pain Management. Dr Gribbin's staff is also recommended for their tasks in the office - making one feel at ease, assisting a patient and tending to all the authorizations they have to deal with! Dr Gribbin also has on staff a Physical Therapist for her patients. The therapist is also well informative and has years of experience. I'm only sorry I did not know Dr Gribbin before moving to Hamilton - I probably would not be in the condition I am now.

I was impressed with Dr. Gribbin's bedside manner, attention to detail, along with her staffs skilled attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks to their help, I was able to SAFELY and STEADILY drop 18-20lbs in about 3 months so I could fit my wedding dress!! Dr. Nadia handles the labwork, nutrition/diet plans, and meds (if needed). Dr. Andre will help you with all your exercise goals/strategies/plans and will work with you on your mindset and lifestyle (so you don't relapse). Together, they are an amazing team (they are husband and wife, too) that will support you every step of the way to help you reach your weight goals SAFELY. AND they will help you MAINTAIN your weight. Their program has evolved very quickly and has adapted to accommodate patients during the COVID pandemic. You use their app on your phone to log your calorie intake, vitals, track weight, etc. The app also allows you to text them at any time if you have questions/concerns and they respond quickly :) Depending on your plan, you may meet with one of them once a week (so you do feel like you are held accountable and can't slack off because you're gonna see them every 7 days!!) If you ever have to go to their office in-person, rest-assured their office is VERY CLEAN (and they both are decked-out in PPE) with strict procedures in place to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. This was the best investment I have made for my health and well-being. By dropping the COVID weight, my overall health has drastically improved, apparently my cholesterol is wonderfully low, blood pressure down, my clothes fit (and some are now too baggy!), I FEEL GREAT, and most importantly... I FIT THE DRESS !!

She recommended doing a biopsy of 3 areas. I thought that was routine procedure. As she does the biopsies, she noted most people wanted the areas checked over time. Good to know now that I'm in the middle of the procedure. She cauterized the areas. When home doing wound care, I find she removed the entire area that looked odd. The wounds still haven't fully healed after over 3 months and they will scar. I have 2 areas in the back of my calves that look horrible. First, reviewing all options with me should be done. Telling me that the entire discolored areas will be cut out and how slowly those biopsy areas will heal, and that they will scar, would have influenced my decision. I didn't have enough information to make an informed decision. Now I have still healing wounds on my legs. Yes, I did go to follow-up appointments and was told legs heal last and slowly. My summer was ruined due to these wounds and I'll be scared. Not impressed at all with the care.

If you need same day help with your cardiovascular system, cataracts and/or compulsive eating disorder this is where you come in a very modern, non-hospital setting. Since my Primary Care doctor is affiliated with Capital Health this is where she invariably sends me for an oil change and transmission work which is always performed in an efficient and professional manner although the sheer size and one stop shopping aspect of the facility is almost too modern and bloodless for my lingering notions of medical nostalgia. However, these types of integrated, large scale operations are the present and future of CFO driven medicine and are known by many different conglomerated names around the country and as a consequence, they do have significant drawbacks. First and foremost, they are creatures of convenience and may not be the most cost-effective option whatever your insurance. Call your insurance carrier and see if there are other more cost-effective providers in the areas, and don't fall for the "we don't know what it's going to cost until we submit the bill." They know, because they can submit it on a test basis beforehand... meaning you could save hundreds in out of pocket costs if their clerical staff bothered to break a sweat. Second, even if the facility is approved by your insurance, not all employees are. Sure the ultrasound may be covered but the technician or physician who performs or reads it may not be, perhaps resulting in separate bills from individuals you never heard of. Ask questions upfront and insist that out of network employees be excluded. It's a pain in the ass but you could easily vacation on the savings. Take it from someone who has been burned, the onus is always on you to clear these issues up beforehand as medical pricing and affiliations continue to be beyond opaque. But back to this facility, it's generally first-rate so my complaints are minimal. Just do your homework, no matter where you live. Your blood pressure will thank you in the morning.

I recently visited the doctor's office for a physical examination with the nurse practitioner…read more About a day later, I received a call from a nurse informing me that I needed to repeat my blood tests in two weeks due to a high white blood cell count. She inquired whether I had been feeling unwell recently. I shared that I had experienced some side effects like coughing, vomiting, and spitting. I initially attributed to my medication and mentioned that the nurse practitioner had adjusted my prescription that very day. I may have been unwell. The nurse kindly offered to arrange a callback from the nurse practitioner, and I happily accepted. The nurse practitioner called me back, introducing herself with a "Hi, this is Nurse Practitioner Yvonne." I responded with a friendly greeting, asking how she was doing. "Fine," she replied, "but my nurse mentioned you were upset about your results. Let me explain she said." She then delved into the reasons behind my two-week wait to redo my labs. After what felt like an eternity of about five minutes, I finally had the opportunity to speak. I clarified, "I was never upset about the results; my concern is the delay. I work closely with many people and want to take precautions to prevent anyone else from getting sick." Her tone shifted, and she remarked sharply, "I checked your results, and you're fine. What kind of exams do you think should be done?" I suggested tests for common issues like flu or COVID, or even a virus panel--after all, I'm not a doctor. I then asked whether it would be possible to consult another physician. She firmly replied, "We don't do that here. Why do you need another doctor?" I expressed my worries about the unusual side effects I was experiencing, which didn't seem normal to me. In that moment, she retorted, "You can do what you want; I'm not continuing this conversation," and abruptly hung up. Moments later, she called back, asking if I wanted to review the rest of my physical results. At that point, my disappointment poured out. I conveyed how much I had admired her and believed I was getting genuine support for my treatment. "I've decided to seek another doctor," I told her, feeling the weight of my decision. With that, she hung up again. I still think to myself why wasn't I asked how I was feeling, or to come back in to run tests. Its so weird no one called me back to see what happiened and I get a letter saying not to go back there. Stay away from the nurse practitioner; see a doctor if you go here! She was very weird talking about how she is making everyone do a tetanus shot hmmmmm.
