Matt wasn't the lowest rate, the highest sale volume, nor did he cite a substantially higher sale price. But his recommendations on prep/staging/marketing; his full-service, detailed, and organized approach; and our ability to speak honestly about expectations really stood out. We also appreciated that he recommended ways to highlight the unique touches in the home, rather than (literally) whitewashing everything as some other realtors advised. His approach magnified the things we loved about the home and the care we put into maintaining and improving it. We were out-of-state during the majority of the sale, and relied on Matt and his team very heavily for sale preparation. He made proposals, got quotes, and oversaw work. After 20 minutes went by, I texted Maverick to ask why he was not there. He texted me back that he was busy and wanted to meet later in the day. I had already changed my plans for the day to accommodate him and already wasted 40 minutes for Maverick (I still had a 20 minute drive to get home). I decided not to waste any more time dealing with Mr. Maverick, so I chose not to sell these items to him. The crazy thing is that he had the audacity to give me a bad review after I was extremely accommodating to him and he totally disregarded our agreed meeting time and location.
