I called health link around 9pm when I realized my daughter's stubbed ToE was like my a break... and of course it was a Friday night of a long weekend meaning our family clinic would be closed until Tuesday. We were just getting ready to leave on vacation in 6 days for Disney and knew there would be LOTS and LOTS of walking and swimming and running and climbing. So glad we popped in. Free street parking. There was literally one person in the waiting room. Staff were courtesy and friendly from the moment we entered until we left. Admittedly, my daughter had a bit of a freak out on the poor ER doc when she was told that the X-ray confirmed a broken bone. But overall the visit was great. A clean, bright, and new facility open afternoons and evenings for urgent care only. They did the assessment, X-ray, and treatment in about an hour's time. They did warn me that sometimes when it's swamped they will stop taking new patients before they officially close at 10pm but that's okay - I get that. I only wish I had learned of our Urgent Care facility sooner! Two Thumbs Way Up!

I see Dr. Gaetano at the health center and he is a very good Doctor that cares and listens to my concerns and sends me in the right direction for any outside care (specialists) needed. After going most of my life without a family doctor, I was able to start seeing a doctor at the…read moreJustik Clinic. I've been going there for a few years now and I quite like it. There are 13 doctors in total working at this clinic and I've seen a few of them - my regular doctor and others during the walk-in time. I quite like my doctor. He has a good bedside manner, always listens to everything I have to say and isn't just hovering over his prescription pad. I hate going to a Medicentre or something like that and feeling like (scratch that, knowing) that they're not listening and just trying to get you out of there as quickly as possible. I also like that he doesn't just push drugs on me, but will also suggest alternatives and options. He takes my concerns into consideration always. I've had to see a specialist a couple of times, and they set up the appointments for me no problem. I'm usually able to get in to see him within a week of when I call. My favourite thing about this clinic is the wait time, or lack thereof. When I have a regular appointment, I've never waited more than 10 minutes. My husband usually has to wait 1-2 HOURS for his doctor, even with an appt. Another big bonus here is the walk-in clinic, which is for existing patients of the clinic only. It runs Monday thru Thursday from 5-8pm, and Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Very convenient. Again, the max I've waited for this is 20 minutes, which I think is very reasonable. I've seen three other doctors through the walk-in clinic, and they've all been quite good as well. The waiting room is huge and clean. I hate those medical offices that are totally cramped, with toys all over the floor and everyone sitting shoulder to shoulder. There is a pharmacy and an x-ray place in the same building. The clinic is just off of Whyte Ave, a bit down the street from Chapters. I can usually find a meter or a spot on the street. There is also a pay lot across the street.

The wait time fluctuates like any other medicentre, I recommend seeing their website for other locations and wait times if you don't like waiting long times. www.medicentres.com. Parking is moderately small and fluctuates as well due to other clinics next to this one. Ex: dental clinic, & dyna life. The staff are pleasant and very helpful to a certain extent. I'll definitely be checking in here when I get sick or until these doctors are accepting new patients to their practice. Anyways, have fun shopping for your own doctor. Remember, be patient, shop around at different locations and you'll find the one who suits your needs. Good luck! ;) I recommend this location for simple check-ups.
