I could not say enough about his expertise with this injury. When I saw my surgeon for my 8 week post op, he told me that I was one month ahead of schedule. Dennis is super motivating, accepting, creates a sense of community, is extremely knowledgeable, and takes time to make sure I understand everything. The time flies as he chats while I do the exercises and before I know it the time is over. Dennis makes it enjoyable and fun and tailors everything to what he sees and what you share with him. His background is also ortho in hospital settings which is helpful. He tailors his style for each person and is just great to learn from. Since this was my second shoulder replacement, I have a basis to compare the treatment that I have received from Julia. Although I was pleased with the outcome from the other therapist, there was no comparison with the Julia's process, and results that I obtained from Julia. In reflecting back on my progress, it is now very obvious that she had built a recovery strategy for me since day one. There has been a constant progression of various exercises that she has adapted to my improving condition. In addition to the treatments, her explanation of what and why we are doing things has been spot on. I really appreciate her combination of technical expertise and practical application throughout my recovery process. Overall, an extremely positive experience. After 2 months, I had full range of motion and now, after three months, I have the go ahead to get back to a regular work out routine.
