I am an athlete and yoga/group fitness instructor, as well as an over-50 mom with a typical desk job. Fixxed employees are amazing at explaining to you what's happening the whole way through your visit so you understand what they're seeing, hearing from you, and why/what the treatment or suggestions will help. I went into Fixxed with a terrible pinch in my shoulder/neck region that was causing me an incredible amount of discomfort. I wasn't sure what would be the best course of treatment, but I knew I needed some help. Ariel did a thorough review that included pointed questions, body movements, and strength tests (ones like holding your arms out to the side while she pushed down lightly) and determined that we should do dry needling. She walked me through what it would feel like and what I would experience both during and after. As I was getting up from the table she said "sweating is totally normal" before I could even see how much sweat I had left on the table she also gave me a few physical therapy exercises to do to work on the muscles in my upper back and neck. I came back 2 more times, did those therapy moves regularly, and adjust my seating at my at-home desk, and the pinch is now gone. I work out quite a bit, but had never done much in the way of physical/massage therapy, or to help with recovery. without reservation i recommend FIXXED; tightness in my shoulders and neck has been greatly reduced since beginning my sessions. I haven't been brave enough yet to try dry needling or cupping but Ariel suggested the Graston technique for cording in my left hand which has increased my flexibility.
