The office has a warm atmosphere and the customer service is great! As soon as you enter the doors of the office there is a coat rack and then as you enter the waiting area you are greeted by a mantle, sofa and chairs. There's a bowl of apples waiting for you and the tv is on. It feels like being at home. I really enjoy the technicians there especially Bree, she does a wonderful job making my teeth feel clean and healthy. Kneib Dentistry is above the learning curve as they use texting to confirm appointments and to send appointment reminders, I really wish more businesses would do this. All-in-all this is a great place to get your teeth taken care of.

After a quick xray, I was asked if i wanted an extraction or a root canal and crown. I opted for the extraction. Dr. Simons proceed directly and with in a few minutes the tooth was out. There was no pain or even discomfort. The whole process took about 45 minutes including filling out the paperwork. The care was so good I plan on returning.

I ask repeatedly what the cost will be for routine procedures as well as what they will perform at my general intake and he seems to tell me that maybe I can't afford his practice because I want to know what they will be charging me. Be aware of the their reluctance to reveal expected charges ahead of your visit and and to be treated like a lesser class citizen. Maybe someone else can identify with this- Dr Starr charged me $50 to tell me cosmetic dentistry for my mouth is like purchasing a car, I can by a Ferrari or a Yugo. Profound as this advice was, I could have saved the $50 and total waste of my time going to this pompous office. My email to the office asking about the charges of my upcoming appointment- I would like to temporarily suspend my appointment for next week. What will be performed and the subsequent fee schedule at above referenced appointment? Why was I not informed of a $50 charge prior to yesterday's visit, only after? Would that be refunded if I had cosmetic work performed at the practice? If my family and I switched to this practice, would I have to pay $50 for each individuals family members initial visit? Can you supply a fee schedule for routine dental procedures? We are self pay and would pay cash at each visit. Do you offer cash discount? If so what percentage? Snip below form our beloved Dr Starr- "Hi Michael, As requested, I have cancelled your appointment for next week. You were charged yesterday for a consultation appointment. This fee is not refundable. We would be happy to have you and your family as part of our practice. We would initially need to bring each of you in as new patients with our practice. This would include needing to take a set of records (x-rays, photographs, periodontal charting, etc) and perform comprehensive examinations accordingly. There are charges associated with each of those procedures. We do not offer a cash discount, however we do offer an in-house insurance plan that is very beneficial for those patients without dental insurance. I will be up front in telling you that if you are looking for the cheapest option for dental care for you and your family, we are likely not going to be the best option for you and your family. We have a very high standard of care for our patients. We simply cannot provide that level of care AND be the cheapest office in town. We can certainly answer all your questions. I have extreme dental anxiety, some people may consider it a phobia. I just thought I needed to come on and leave this review here because the staff and Dr. Starr are absolutely wonderful. They are very understanding with any nerves or anxiety you may have, and took absolute care of me. I felt very safe and can honestly say even though the procedure was fairly minor I've never once felt this comfortable while have dental work. I highly recommend everyone that needs a new dentist to give this office a go. Absolutely amazing will be returning for all my needs in the future. I told her my fears and how I felt and she was so nice and always happy and made me feel very comfortable. And with my last appt she gave me a squishy street ball to hold. Lol. I warned her I was very nervous and she had no sympathy. The cleaning was extremely painful. The worst part was she was so rough around my front crown that it is now loose which I expect will cost me more money. It makes me upset because I have taken care for over 10 years to not bite into anything with that tooth for the purpose of not having to go without that tooth while they take months to prepare a partial.

Dr David DeMarco is very experienced and always knows the best fix for any problem we've had. I had called to see if I could get a tooth filled and they said, "Sure, come on in." I go in, they take several x-rays, some not on the side of the tooth to be filled. An older man comes in and starts telling me about how he doesn't want to fill the tooth until the neighboring ones can be cleaned/examined. I told him that they said on the phone that they could fill it. He goes on to tell me that two teeth need to be removed or they could become abcessed. Then he recommends me to some of his buddies that could do the extraction because they don't do that there. I smelled a rat. I leave with no filling in my tooth. I was charged for, "several x-rays and an intermediate exam" to the tune of $170!!! I could have stayed home, gotten nothing done to my tooth, and saved $170. Those two teeth that I was advised to get pulled? They're still in my mouth and healthy. I'm always leery of places that have all or nearly all five star-ratings. I wished that I would have listened to my gut. I'm trying to find another dentist that doesn't want to destroy my mouth for profit.
