The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. The Clinic, has taken care of our basic ortho needs (money saver) while partnering with an Ortho specialist for long term plans. Doctors L and their Hygienists take a conservative approach when warranted, we've not been pressured to receive treatment or services that were not needed. We love their fish tank !! I called the office and was booked for a consultation two days later. I didn't need a referral. I liked the Dentist and her staff. I booked the procedure to be done one week following the consult. I have complete confidence in Dr. Roche and the staff. I am happy with the procedure and booked another appointment in a couple of weeks. The office is bright and spacious. It's colourful and chill. Staff are so nice. I appreciated how Dr. Hussain listened to my freezing fears and bad past experiences. He made extra effort to make me feel comfortable, and added a bit of extra freezing liquid before the needles. I appreciated that the most, but I also appreciated how the freezing didn't itch and tingle as it faded away. It's been 24 hours and my mouth feels good. He is definitely my new dentist.

I've seen a dentist who has only been practising a couple of years, and I have been very satisfied with my treatment thus far, which has included a couple of fillings. He happily answers all of my questions, which is a trait I admire in any medical professional. The patient areas are bright, clean, and I have witnessed the staff paying close attention to details of hygiene, taking care to sterilize even the lamps. There are televisions in the ceiling with headphones available if you want to watch while you're being worked on. The assistants and hygienists, as well as the desk staff, are very friendly. Comfort Dental's hours are quite long, from early morning extending into the evening, and when booking an appointment they try to work with your schedule. I was able to get in for a checkup and fillings within a week. However, if you want a cleaning, prepare to wait up to a couple of months (although there is a cancellation list).

The receptionist, Michelle, is extremely ill-suited to a job dealing with people. They don't do direct billing, so I had a bill of $4000 to be paid before leaving. I am a poor university student. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I was upset about having to pay such a huge bill, and made me cry. She was ridiculously rude while I was numbed up and still in pain, saying I didn't understand how the 'real world' worked and I needed to learn a lesson. I have good benefits which covered most of the bill, but for whatever reason they don't direct bill, so I had to max out my credit card. I got back to by car and sobbed because of the how badly I had been treated. They need to fire Michelle!! My father had a similar experience with her at his appointment, likening her to the ugly troll who doesn't let people pass her bridge without payment. Left an awful taste in my mouth and will tell everyone I know not to go there because of her.

Finally, the great location just outside of the LRT means that I can hop a train home and avoid all of the downtown traffic. While I wouldn't hope for another root canal, if I had to have another, I'd certainly go back to Dr. Lahl!
