I can't speak for the other reviews from 10- 15 years ago that are dragging down their ratings, but today, for us, they did a great job. We had all ne LVP Vinyl Plank flooring, backsplash and carpet in our home all done with Summit Interiors. Grant Lane was terrific , answered the phone or replied quickly with emails and information. We had acoustical requirements with our Condominium HOA and he not only provided the solution, but all of the specs needed for approval within 48 hours of my request. After multiple bids from 5 other contractors on the pieces of our project, Grant gave us the most competitive bid while assuring us that the job would be done right. The last piece was our carpet in three rooms that was completed yesterday and we are delighted with the results. This will be our first call on our next project. The woman named Christine is awful. The business would be much better off without her. She has the nastiest attitude, is condescending, and arrogant. I don't see how anyone could get any work done with her and value her opinion whatsoever. She is an embarrassment to the company and the owner should do something to save himself. read more

I needed to replace a carpet 1 1/2 year ago before my renters moved in and I needed the job done asap. Not only were they able to come out measure right away, they had the installer come within two days to get the job done. 1 1/2 later, I am having them change out the carpet in the whole house and Christine was able to arrange everything to get the job done in 3 days! Very disappointed in workmanship. Summit interior was a sub hired to tile a shower/tub combination. The tile is not straight, has rough edges, grout on the side of the tile looks unfinished. read more

Rich is rude and offered incredibly poor customer service. Some of the worst service I have ever had! Install of carpet was good but the installer did not clean up after himself. He did not vacuum which left thousands of twines of carpet that I had to vacuum up 3 or 4 times. He did not clean up dozens of small pieces of padding and small remnants. And he left a few nails in the entry way to my kids play room. I spent about an hour cleaning up after him! The last time I had carpet installed they at least cleaned up after themselves. Without yelling or being belligerent I explained my situation to Rich over the phone and he would do nothing. I was hoping for maybe a small compensation, I got nothing. Not even an apology! When I went to the showroom he was rude. "What do you want?" is how he greeted me. Summit is over priced. I only went with them because they had the best match for what I already had. Stay away, there are a lot more places out there that will treat you better at better prices. Once they had my money, they didn't give a s**t. read more

This company is not only unethical; it doesn't know how to install laminate flooring. The installation was so bad that the Evoke V.P. of Sales and V.P. of tech support visited our home. They intervened and made Summit do the necessary repair work. Yes, repair work. The cuts throughout our home either were too tight against the walls (and caused buckling) or too short (so the baseboards couldn't be installed). Huge gaps in the hardwood laminate were plainly visible (in some cased 2 inches shy of the baseboard). The installers were not just incompetent, the "designer" didn't watch their progress, installation dates were not met, they did not clean up the debris (we had to and dumped the debris at Summit's headquarters)...one worker threatened my wife and walked off the job. Overpriced, horrible installation...we finally got our money back from the credit card company! They also broke WA State regulations by demanding full payment up front. The list of atrocities goes on and on. read more

Just to give you a quick follow up on our remodel and repair for a house you bid for us a couple months ago. After several attempts (three weeks) to get a solid bid from Summit Interiors without the game playing (if you don't want this we'll have to charge you for that) we obviously chose to have the work done by companies other than yours. The total remodel did cost more than the original bid you gave us but in return we did decide to upgrade most everything on our list. At the same time, of the contractors who did the work, none could believe that your company passed on a job in which not only did we have cash up front but we had a clear plan for the specifics we needed to do. On my friends Facebook I received the same reaction. My family (father, brother, son in law- Murray Franklin, Newland Construction, Kirtley Cole) have done construction work for the past 60 years so I'm sure their friends were just as appalled. We came to you for a fair bid to fit our timeline, but apparently our $15000.00 was not of interest to your company. As I stated we did end up installing Quartz countertops, glass backsplashes and upgrading the linoleum to hardwood floors.
